When I make a piece of furniture I like put my logo on the piece. I was using a branding iron but with black laser spray I can now put my logo on a brass plate and attach it either prominently or subtly to whatever I build.

If anyone is hesitant about ordering this based on price, don’t delay and order it! This product works better than I expected. I was nervous about spending the money because I’m new at layering, but I’m glad I did. Dry moly does the job, but based on everything I read, it can cause damage to your machine from the fumes. Also with dry moly, to mark stainless you have to go 5-10 passes to get image to show up and even that is inconsistent which takes up valuable time. With this spray I did two passes and images are super crisp and no dead spots(I did a test run and one pass works, image gets crisper with a second pass). The axe was done with dry moly for the image and Brilliant marking spray for the words. As you can see, the image done with dry moly looks a touch faded. That was after 5 passes, whereas 2nd Place was two passes with the Brilliant marking spray. I’m still getting the hang of doing even coats with the spray as going heavy causes it to have running with the spray, though it doesn’t affect the lasering process, it does waste product.This product is definitely worth the money. Hope this review helps other small business owners and/or people with their decision to buy.

This stuff is cool! I've never tried engraving metal and wanted to give it a try, but wasn't sure if a 10W diode laser was actually going to be capable of making a lasting mark. So I decided on this spray based off of price and reviews and I love how simple it is to use and how well it works! It makes a lasting black mark on stainless steel that doesn't wash or scrub off, and even works with engraving glass! I like how easy it is to wash off, but spraying it on is difficult, especially with a curved surface, and takes some practice to do it evenly. Totally work it though if you want to be able to laser metal with a diode laser.

Brilliance has worked great for us with our laser needs - a bit of adjustment with settings - but much better than higher cost markers.We purchase this regularly and need to order prior to our current can going empty since we don't know how much is left in the can. Of course just after the 30 day return window closes we open this can to use it and find that the nozzle is broken and it spayed everywhere. It is not usable.Amazon would not allow me to contact the company about the defective can. Contacted them off of Amazon and they are replacing. I will test product right away even when I'm not ready to open a new can.Amazon should do better with contact regarding defective products - I shouldn't need to go off-site to get help.

After giving it a go and after using another “only option” brand for several years, I gave this a try and was impressed. Then I saw Omnother brand that claims “black marking spray” for even cheaper so I tried it. It was terrible me but Brilliance is a definite Best Buy when it comes to cost and final appearance. 👍

I am a substrate decorating professional and have been screen printing and embroidering for over 30 years and most recently (past two years), laser marking and etching.When marking nude stainless, Brilliance does a fine job if you adhere to the following:Make sure you have a clean surface. Acetone with fresh 100% cotton or high quality paper towels is best. Follow the direction on the can with respect to distance. It will take a number of attempts before one can master product and can movement to achieve an even and opaque coating that avoids puddling, which can effect appearance somewhat. Your laser will ultimately determine the outcome, so scan the URL code or do a little research to find the best power and scan speed for your laser. From 40 watt to 150 watt, there's a sweet spot for each. You will lose some product along the way. Take heart...they are recoverable. With a sanding block and 100 grit metal dedicated sand paper and a lot of elbow grease, you can remove an image form brushed stainless and it'll look just fine for re-marking. Trust me...been there, done that. All depends on what your time is worth, but drink ware can be expensive.With Brilliance, you will end up with a matte, deep charcoal image just shy of jet black. I found the price difference and the shear number of units I am marking was worth switching to Brilliance. I did an apples to apples comparison with the same design, product, power and scan speed settings. There's a slight but barely noticeable difference in favor of the other brand with regard to blackness, but not enough to justify the price difference when I'm going through nearly 5 cans on one job. At a foot away, no discernible difference at all.

Been dealing with laser engraving for about a year now, not saying I'm an expert, but followed their directions to the letter and when I clean the finished piece it washes right off.Running a F1 Ultra on the Fiber laser
