NUTRIENT DENSE BRAN & GERM
I bought this NON-GMO, USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR to make scones. We'll also be using it to make a no-knead bread & pizza dough, (from scratch). It has a yummy slightly nutty flavor. The one & only ingredient is organic stone ground whole wheat flour. That's it! It does not contain yeast, sodium, preservatives, additives, etc. Whole grains are a good source of fiber & protein.

Great to start a levain
Started a levainfor the first time with this wheat flour. I trust the company is giving me the freshest commercial flour I can buy from a supermarket. The levain came out beautifully, with a nice wheat taste, nutty aroma and visually flecked with the grain. Produced a beautiful loaf with a viable starter.

The Best!
Great flour! I just wish it wasn't so expensive and hard to find. I settled for Bob's Red Mill stone ground as a substitute recently, and while it's very nice flour and a good value, it just doesn't have the special nutty quality of the Arrowhead Mills. Unfortunately I now have a 5-lb bag to use up before I can go back to my favorite!

A Delicious Whole Wheat Flour
This tastes great in the muffins I make on a regular basis, with healthful ingredients. This brand is reliable, and one I have used for many years.

Great tasting flour

Food product was old
Package was re-wrapped in plastic. A new barcode was placed on the plastic over the old one. A new Best Buy date was on the plastic package. When I remove the plastic wrapping, the best by date was almost a year earlier than what was represented on the plastic covering. I’m extremely disappointed!
