Mextech M45 3 ½ digits 600A AC Digital Clamp meter 2000 Counts

I wanted a simple and cheap clamp meter with a function to read less than 2 Amps AC and this one does the job perfectly. There are a lot of other clamp meters out there cheaper than this one but most of them support only range of 20 Amps. I never use clamp meters to do other tasks like measure voltage or continuity because I use a multi meter for that, so those functions in this product are simply an added bonus.Pros--Reads Current less than 2A-Smooth ergonomic design and decent build quality for the price-Uses 2x AAA battery ( which in my opinion is much better than 9V battery models )-Fairly Accurate ( I know that this ain't no fluke )-Dial grip is decentCons--Sometimes even when there is no wire inside the clamp the display shows some very tiny values-No DC current capabilityIndicator light is not very attractiveBeen using this for 2 months and so far so good.

The product is good. I am using it more than 4months.Pros-*The meter have decent build quality"Easy to use*The battery used in the meter is AA and it is easily available local marketCons-*The AC/DC voltage showing on the display not much accurate it is the average. I mean if the voltage of a battery is 12.6v the meter will read it has 13v*The voltage rang that is AC/DC mentioned as symbols and for a beginner it will be little confusing*The Milli ampere it will be changing when we suddenly changing the the place . I mean when the wire in the center it will accurate and wire on the right or left of the clamp it will change the reading. The data sheet it is clearly mentioned that +/-3% so no problem. For this price point it good. Don't except correct accuracy like fluke etcValue for money

1 st of all, this is not original.However, at this price, it's kind of okay. I'm not happy with the accuracy. However, for very basic purpose, you may use it.

It is very handy & easy to be carried in pocket, rest all the features are same as that of any other clamp tester

If you need true rms meter this is not the choice.This is averaging type.For highly accurate readings go for TRMS type meters.This is not auto ranging type .For continuity you have to change probe port its a con.While considering price 670And made quality, small size its good for beginners and small usages
