First, I want to tell you that this is not a dry shampoo. It’s a texturizing powder. It comes in a two pack and the bottles are small, containing 2 ounces each.I think it’d work best on shorter hair or hair maybe shoulder length with layers. It didn’t do much for my very long blonde hair because there were no pieces to texturize. However, I tried it on my friend’s hair and it made a huge difference.I was surprised when I took the cap off and found it to be a pump dispenser. I pressed the pump about 2-3 times and out came a fine plume of almost white powder. Then within seconds, I couldn’t see the powder anymore but I could feel the dryness on my hands.I would definitely recommend giving this texturizing powder a chance if you have short hair and want that added volume, just be prepared to pay on the higher end for it. I thought it was a little overpriced, but if you get the look you want, then it’s worth it.

I’m really pleased with the way this makes my hair look. A voluminous look but looks less “high maintenance” that when I do a blow out. Like it’s that natural “I woke up with my hair looking this awesome” look. But you can take it down or up a notch as needed with this stuff.When I first saw that these were smaller than expected, I thought maybe this wouldn’t be a great value but it doesn’t take much at all to make a difference in my hair, so this is actually a pretty good value considering you get two bottles.Also since it’s a pump, I can control how much I use. With the ones where you pour a powder, I always end up over applying which not only doesn’t look as good, but isn’t as cost effective. This is a really smart design!

This Simpletics hair volume powder does actually work. I sprayed the powder into the roots of my hair and used my fingers to lift and scrunch my hair at the roots and boom, I had good volume in those areas. Nice! It's very easy to use but the powder sprays out a little unevenly so I had to go over the areas of hair I had missed on the first try. The volume was definitely there though and it stays for a while. There is no discernable smell to the powder, it vanishes on the hair and it doesn't add any weight to it.The only thing I don't like about this Simpletics is the way my hair feels after applying this powder. It definitely feels like it has residue in it. It almost feels grungy to me, like I haven't washed my hair in a few days. That feel of the powder fades a little bit as I work with my hair to get it where I want it, but my hands still get a slight residue on them after working them through my hair.So, while this product works as advertised, just be aware that your hair might feel 'unclean' after applying the powder. You'll have the volume you want and the lack of chemicals though.

This powder works, it goes on pretty easily and (assuming your hair is on the shorter side or has layers) definitely helps add some volume and texture. It holds pretty well, although it does feel like it attracts dirt a little faster but that’s pretty standard with all similar products. The only thing is it is a bit pricey, these are small containers, so a two pack for just under forty dollars is a bit steep.

this is a set of two bottles of texturizing powder. They work well to texturize short hair. I'm using them to remove the shine from a new wig I bought. Since super shininess is the one of the dead giveaways of a wig.

Applies easily and evenly. Helps create styles and is excellent in hold. Hair didn't feel stiff and maintained softness. Definitely helped with volume and thickness. Poured some in hand, gently rubbed hands together and then worked through. Great functionality. Overall an awesome powder!

The powder certainly texturizes my hair, and that texture is a gritty coated feeling. I don’t usually use texturized, so maybe this is normal for them? My favorite part about it is the bottle. It’s small and portable, but the pump is the best part. I’ve never seen a powder sprayed like this. It’s almost like an aerosol it comes out so smoothly, evenly, and quickly. I didn’t expect it to do that when I first tried it and ended up with a white caste all over my head. This was simple enough to work through and blend it. There’s a little bit of a boost in fullness from this, but you can definitely feel it in your hair. I wouldn’t use it for that reason, but it seems like a good choice for those who use texturized.
