SAV Sportex Ar4150 Reading Glasses - Flexible, Durable, Ultra-Lightweight, High-Performance Readers for Men and Women

These glasses are light weight, comfortable and quite durable. My job as a Flight Medic requires me to bend the arms of the glasses to fit underneath my helmet many times throughout the day. Additionally when I’m not wearing them, they are jammed in my Flight vest and frequently get compressed while we are performing rescues. The plastic lenses resist scratches and visual clarity is very good. If I have a complaint it’s that a few of the pairs I’ve had over the past few years had the little pin that holds the arm on to the lenses fall out, which I suppose could be fixed, but for $20, I just got some new ones. The vast majority of the Sportex readers that I’ve had have been excellent.

I have purchased seven pairs of these (AR4145 and 4150) and have found them all to be of excellent quality for the price. The OSFA fit is comfortable for long-term use and the lenses (2X magnification in my case) provide clarity for both reading the smallest print and computer work. I keep a pair in my vehicles and my tool and fishing tackle boxes as well as my garage and workshop, not to mention the pair I keep for general use around the house. Those in sport and work situations have proven to be highly durable under harsh conditions if stored in the case included when not being worn. The attached cleaning cloth is handy, especially in those situations. The way I use them, I expect to lose them, so the price makes these an easy choice. I recommend these without reservation.

I like the 4060 model better. These are a little flimsy due to very thin frames. Lens seem very good; nice and Clear

Lightweight and comfortable.Still 5 stars, but they do break easily. Would not recommend keeping in your pockets.

The optical quality of the lenses is fine. The frames are light, but one side opens up more than the other, making them a little lop-sided on my face. In the last couple of weeks the outer plastic coating on the temples and tips has been peeling off like snake skin. Not good for a pair of glasses worn less than two months. I wouldn't buy these again.

This is a second order. Thought first was a fluke when wire broke. The wire is not sturdy. Glasses look good otherwise

Best readers I've found because they are super light and flexible. You can put them in your pocket without feeling a stiff pair of glasses. So light you hardly feel them on your face and with minimal frame for less obstruction.

These have been my go-to glasses for the past year. I've purchased several pairs and by far, the strongest feature is that they are light but grip strong enough to stay on your head during vigorous activity. Be aware that they are very fragile - the lenses will pop out with the slightest pressure and can not be re-inserted. The last pair were warped out of the box. My opinion on these glasses has declined but I will order one more time.
