Generic - Skin So Soft Original Dry Oil Spray

I Love using this product it makes my skin feel nice in the summer and the bugs don't bother me. The scent is so nice the moisture makes my skin glow and it's is worth the money the bottle is bigger then if I bought it in the atorevery easy to use

I purchased this product because I had seen on social media that it is wonderful to keep mosquitoes away even though it is not technically a mosquito spray. It smells very good make your skin feel very soft and most definitely does keep the mosquitoes away, lthough it is not branded and sold to do so.

Nothing like original SSS. 2nd ingredient is alcohol, so it smells super strong like rubbing alcohol. I bought to use as bug spray. Original always worked SO good. I got a bug bite (gnat/no-seeum) within 15 minutes of application. Definitely didn't work.

I’ve tried the usual stuff like Off, but I can’t stand that heavy chemical DEET smell.I grew up with the old-school Skin So Soft, the kind that was basically mosquito armor in the ’90s. This version doesn’t smell the same, but it works just as well—maybe even better. It has a slight alcohol scent at first, but that fades fast. It’s not sticky, and once it dries, it leaves a light, invisible barrier that actually keeps the bugs off.The price is a little steep for just 8.5 oz (250 ml), so I got creative. I split it into two smaller spray bottles and added coconut oil to stretch it out. One with regular coconut oil, and one with MCT oil—and both worked great. Plus, it made it go further without messing with how well it works.It’s not the nostalgic scent from my childhood, but it does the job, and that’s what matters. I’ll keep using it—because in Alabama, bug spray isn’t optional. It’s survival.

It really helps with mosquitoes but it must be reapplied frequently

So far so good! No bug bites yet. Smells better that the lemon eucalyptuses bug spray!

I use skin so soft almost every day, it feels great on my skin smells superb and the best mosquito repellent I’ve ever used!

I ordered this as it’s always been one of my favorite years from Avon and oddly enough helped to repel mosquitoes to an extent, and living in Florida, I thought I’d give this a shot again, it took quite a while to be delivered to me after I ordered it almost forgot that I ordered it, and then oddly enough it had to be signed for for some reason, none of my packages delivered ever has to be signed for, but this did!?
