Handy tool works great.
I use this to remove my heat element on my tankless water heater and purchased it for that reason. Fits perfectly, ease to use. Seems to be good quality and worth the purchase .

Better Than A Socket
This was perfect for removing the broken heating element on my hot water heater. It's better than a socket, in my opinion, because it has a flat face to grip the skinny hex head of the heating element (has 100% surface contact). I will say that I had trouble getting the heating element to unscrew at first, but this was because the tank had hard scale build up even above the heating element. Once it began to rotate, it came right now.The holes in the tool that you run your screw driver through are fairly large diameter compared to the the shaft of most screw drivers. Having a thicker, longer Phillips head will be ideal so you have less wiggle room and so that you have a longer handle for better leverage. Good tool - good price.

Other parts in the way
Double check your location of your heating element. My RV had propane ignition line infront of the heating element which prevented the socket to fit straight on. You can remove that line but that woykd be extra work. If your rv has nothing in the way this is perfect. Sadly for mine i still have to use large mouth plyers.

Got the job done
Went to change out the elements on my hot water heater and this got it done. Have to use your own bar or screwdriver as a handle but it held up on the install and reinstall with no issues. Extremely affordable compared to those name brands in the big box stores which most didnt even have it in stock.
