SodaStream E-Duo Sparkling Water Maker (Black) with 60L CO2, 1 BPA- Free Carbonating Bottle and (1)1L Glass Bottle

This is our 2nd soda stream acqua fizz. The first one worked for about 5+ years before giving up the ghost. We used it a lot! This new version has the same dimensions but the fizzing part is way better /stronger. Now I’m thrilled the 1st one died. We use the machine & bottles multiple times a week. We always have at least 2 prepped bottles in the frig. We use to buy bottled waters and haven’t don’t that in at least 1/2 decade.

I love love love Sodastream. Have used them for decades. I love the ones that you don't have to plug in. The carafes are beautiful. I only thought about taking away one star because one of the bottles had a manufacturing flaw and had a ripple in the side of the bottle ( not the regular ripples that are part of the design ). Non-electric is great because it frees up outlets. Carbonation is great. Not super noisy since the bottles are contained within the machine. Easy and fast.

Absolutely love this item and ease of use. The glass bottles that come with it are great and keep the water carbonated for a long time. The device is very tall when not in use so find space for that ahead of time. Overall super happy with this purchase!

I had a SodaStream years ago that worked really great. I gave it away when I moved years ago. Recently a friend showed their SodaStream Aqua Fizz in action and it was the model that had GLASS carafes instead of plastic bottles so I bought it. It was easy to set up, but when I pushed the button to carbonate, it spilled water in the machine under the carafe.(Yes, I ONLY filled it to the Fill line, no more.) Plus I noticed the carbonation was very weak. I kept trying over several days days and it was the same - water everywhere, no matter what I did. Plus the carbonation was very, very weak, even with a full canister. Do check the other 1 star, 2 star and 3 star reviews and you'll see that is model has this known defect.**ALSO be aware, SodaStream does not tell you anyplace that the glass carafes are only 1/2 a liter (1 pint, 16 ozs) instead of the regular 1 liter (32 ounces) bottles in other models.I went to the SodaStream website and found that they don't even carry the Fizz model for sale any more. That should be a reason not to buy it. Skip this one, the model is defective!!

This has to be my 3rd or 4th soda stream machine. I only drink water and carbonated water so I use this machine a bunch. I love the quick install of the cartridge BUT find that the CO2 cartridge only lasts me 2 weeks when it used to last at least a month. Not sure if this is yet another profit margin adjustment or if it’s a leak in the quick install valve, but it’s basically making this cost as much as just purchasing carbonated water from the grocery.I will be looking into a refill system because this is t really cost saving anymore unless I refill my own cartridges again.

Wanted to change from the plastic bottles that expire to this glass bottle system. I have had 0 problems with it!

Great concept, good value ! Wish we had a gas supplier nearby in order to refill cannisters.....

My son loves sparkling water and I wanted to get him one for his birthday. I did a lot of research and wanted one that had glass carafes. Soda steam received great customer reviews and also from Wire Cutter. So I was really excited and purchased this product during the Black Friday sale and saved it for my son’s birthday in Jan.My son opened it up the first week of Jan and we discovered that it had already been used and one of the carafes was missing and the soda stream wouldn’t open to allow the bottle to fit in. I tried to exchange it but Amazon said I missed the window even though it said it could be returned until Jan 31st. They recommended that I call Soda Stream, which I did. I was really skeptical but the Soda Steam customer service was excellent!The customer support was very polite, very knowledgeable and very helpful. I was gutted that my son’s present didn’t work and he understood. We did a video chat and he was able to see the machine did not work. They were also able to take the product code picture, my order number and see that parts of the bundle were missing. They quickly reorder a new machine and it is to arrive within a week.I was so impressed! My son is so excited! Thank you Soda Steam for standing behind your products!
