Great to link up with the other characters
I purchased this for my niece for Christmas. It’s a really engaging toy for a baby, lights up and plays sounds. It can link up with other characters in the range, I was surprised as I purchased the Panda for my other niece and they started talking to each other and playing music! Seem well made and works well!

Fun recording feature
The media could not be loaded. This cute learning toy incorporates both the keyboard and a music centre. The large keyboard incorporate the alphabet, things that start with that letter and also songs. As this is aimed at nine months up I'm surprised how difficult it is to press the buttons on the keyboard. You need a really firm press on them and when you do manage to press it there is quite a long delay until it responds. As a mother and grandmother I would say babies would get very bored with this, doing something and having to wait for a response is quite annoying. So I'm not impressed with the keyboard feature, and if it hadn't been for the mixing deck and how much fun this is, this product would've had a two star review! The recording feature is absolutely hilarious, Just press the red button which is easy for babies to press. And say something or make a noise once the mic turns red. It will instantly turn what you said into a music track and play it back for you. It plays back with different beats every time so that adds interest as you play. I'm not sure I want to share it with my grandchildren when they arrive because every time I walk past it on the kitchen table I press the button and say something stupid just to hear the song, Honestly I have laughed so much at it.Despite the keyboard not being a hit with us the rest of it is. And it's really well-made you can feel the quality of it. I like the yak character that is on the top of the toy, It's unusual and better than trotting out the same old animals we always have on children's toys. While reading the information on this product I also saw that it can be linked to other toys That are like it, I'm assuming it means they can interact with each other but I don't know how. Value wise is a difficult one, for me I wouldn't pay that much for it because I don't think a baby could use it that much, older siblings definitely will, But the toy is not being marketed towards them. I do think however that kids will get a lot of use out of the recording feature.
