EasySMX M05 Mobile Gaming Controller for iPhone 15 Series (USB-C),Android Gaming Controller with Hall Trigger,Advanced Vibration,Plug & Play,Bluetooth (Type-C)

I have reviewed many EasySMX controllers, and this one did not disappoint. I had been looking for a controller for my cell phone as I have loaded many games on it for when I find myself waiting in places.I was looking for something that would fit my phone and it's case. The previous offering I tried was the Razer Kishi V1. It was alright, but I had to pull my phone out of it's case, and it's a thin case. This controller has a nice pivoting USB C port so that you are not putting pressure on your charging port.The buttons feel great, as does the controller in the hands. It even comes with 2 map-able back buttons that are positioned well. It is a telescoping controller, and it does take up a little space in a bag or pocket. The controller also has a charging pass-through port that supports quick charge, so you can play and charge.My only complaint is that there is no home or guide button. But it isnt that big of a deal for me. If you stretch the controller out, there is a sticker on the controller that shows the different modes and the led light color for them, as well as how to switch the modes . The controller even though is a USB C connected device, has a Bluetooth mode for compatibility with some games that only work with a Bluetooth controller.This controller is at a great price point. I have no regrets, and it has become a staple in my go-bag.

All in all, this controller is pretty good for it's price. However it is ABOUT 2X OVERPRICED here on Amazon. You can find it for 20 bucks on AliExpress, but I guess the doubled price here is for the quality assurance of Amazon or something.About the controller: Here are some gripes. It DOES NOT easily support a regular slim phone case, but luckily you can remove the rubber bumpers on each side of the USB-C port (they're just attached with double-sided tape), so it does TECHNICALLY support cases.Another gripe: IT DOES NOT HAVE A HOME / XBOX BUTTON, so any games / emulators or anything of the sort where if you wanted to go back to main menu of the app / app settings, you can't.My second to last issue: The app is VERY SHADY. It runs in the background and constantly causes slowdown. It's only useful to bind the buttons you want, then immediately uninstall it. It reeks of Chinese spyware.One more issue: The pass-through charging is completely useless for any amount of gaming. It passes through about 2-4 watts of power to the phone, and that is while it's plugged into a dedicated laptop charger that easily puts 15 watts directly into the phone without the controller, so the pass-through does little but waste your time and power from your wall. 2-4 watts is absolutely not going to even slow down battery consumption while gaming, all it may do is heat the device up so that it drains faster in fact.Other than all of those issues, the controller is actually pretty good and I use it very often. It's comfortable, doesn't drain the battery much at all, and it even has some nice feeling vibration! I only listed so many issues so that you may be informed on what you're actually getting. It is by no means a bad product, I use it very often!

This is a great controller! I am using it with my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and it is AWESOME!I made the mistake of watching videos online and downloading apps that the reviewers suggested and had trouble setting up the controller right away. So I deleted the app(s) and started new, set it up via Bluetooth and used the different modes to connect to my PS5 and to Dolphin emulator on my phone.It works great! For me the suggested app download from reviewers made things more difficult and tedious, the controller works great without the suggested app, so FYI in case you are having problems.I got this specifically to play older emulated games like Wind Waker/Zleda, etc., and it works great as well.I was surprised it had a USBC plug on the bottom right that allows for device charging, so I can charge my phone while playing. Buttons and everything feels great, my Fold 6 sits perfectly inside without having the cameras mushed in. I do wish the USBC moved up a bit so that my Fold 6 is centered but no biggie.

Worked fine but after 2 months (and the return window) a stick drift makes it nearly impossible to use. I've seen a few other reviews mention this too.I haven't traveled with this controller yet or used it for more than a few hours in Minecraft, so it has no reason to be wearing out or bugging out yet. Best to look for a different controller and save yourself some money.

Great overall performance. As other reviews mention, it doesn’t play well with cases. To remedy this I removed the two black pads from the USB C side as they are too thick and hinder the connection.

Just plug and play , works with game pass app , works with Minecraft mobile , didn't try with call of duty or pubg but I'm sure would work fine . Only thing was trying to get used to the button layout because my brain thought it was a Nintendo switch haha . Doesn't really drain my battery too quickly and the charging port in the unit itself is a good addition . Very well made and flexible USB c port so shouldn't break as long as u take care of it. No apps requires , plug n play. It is comfortable in the hand but after a while hande may cramp up if u have a larger phone , consider a smaller phone for more comfortability :) really responsive remote , no input lag and clicky buttons . Haven't programmed the back buttons but the instructions make it look relatively simple

The controller functions as it should and the modes that work with my phone are decent enough. If my phone locks and then I unlock it sometimes the remote doesn't function unless I remove it while keeping the phone on and then reconnect it. The charge through also rarely works. I have to disconnect the phone to charge it separately almost every time. It does allow me to play emulated games on my older Samsung phone. So far I've played Game Boy and PlayStation games.
