This 7-in-1 USB-C hub is exactly what I needed for my laptop. It connects easily, all the ports work perfectly, and the build quality feels solid. I wanted to add a monitor and find a way to use my old SD and micro SD cards. This was a very inexpensive option, and it gave me additional connections as well. I tested each socket:1. HDMI port worked perfectly. It gave a full 4K resolution to my second screen (using a laptop), which is now my primary monitor.2. SD Card slot moved data pretty fast to my laptop and back. No complaints about any file size taking too long.3. Micro SD Card slot was the same as the SD Card slot - only smaller. I used to have to put the micro SD into an SD card to use it. This was way better and I found files I had forgotten about from years ago.4. There are 2 USB A ports. I used both to charge devices (electric fly swatter and old tablet) at the same time. The USB C power going into the hub must be really good because both were charging great.5. Finally, even though you have to use a USB C to plug the hub into your computer, you don't end up losing that outlet because this has a USB C port as well. It pushes out enough power to charge my Pixel 7 as "fast charging" while also using both of the USB A ports.Final tally: 7 very useful ports that all run off of a single USB C port on your computer. They all work - and for a very reasonable price! I would buy it again.

I honestly think, it really depends on each person’s needs. I bought with a lot doubts, but it was very surprising how very useful can be for me after got it. I use it to connect my phone to my computer, which helps me transfer my photos and files easily, but I also found I can connect a second screen and transfer from other things to my computer which made my life a lot easier. Besides, Its lightweight and compact design doesn’t take up much space I can take it with me.

This USB-C hub was a huge letdown. The most alarming issue is that it doesn’t charge when the USB-C connector is flipped—it works one side only—a basic feature that should work without question. Even worse, touching the dongle while it’s charging gives off a slight electric shock sensation, which feels unsafe. The design looks compact and nice within budget, but the performance and safety are disappointing.

This Ugreen USB-C hub model UCN3286-3 exceeded my expectations. It has multiple useful ports (USB-A, SD, TF, HDMI, and PD) and is ideal for laptops with few connectors. It works perfectly and the build quality is solid. Highly recommended for work or school!
