Really good book for a person who isn’t a reader

While very well written, this is NOT a study guide or bullet pointed read that outlines steps to self improvement, etc. That's where the supplemental guide comes in. This reads like a novel (there's a plot that claims to parallel the reader's journey) so you're not going to be able to skim this and get the meat at the same time. But it seems to get a lot of great reviews, so this style clearly appeals to many. A bit esoteric, but read it by the pool with a cold drink and maybe it's more palpable.
