Essential Tool for RC Enthusiasts
I recently purchased the Hobbypark Aluminum Alloy RC Car Work Stand Repair Workstation, and it has quickly become an indispensable part of my RC car hobby. This workstation offers a perfect blend of functionality, durability, and convenience, making it an excellent addition to my toolkit.Build Quality:The aluminum alloy construction is robust and feels premium. It provides a stable and secure platform for working on my RC cars, and I appreciate the attention to detail in the design. The non-slip pads on the stand ensure that my car stays in place while I'm making adjustments.360-Degree Rotation:One of the standout features is the 360-degree rotation capability. It allows me to easily access every angle of my car without having to constantly reposition it. This has significantly reduced the time and effort required for maintenance and repairs.Adjustable Height:The adjustable height feature is incredibly useful. Whether I'm working on different sizes of RC cars or just need a more comfortable working position, this stand accommodates my needs perfectly.Convenience:The integrated parts tray is a thoughtful addition. It keeps screws, nuts, and other small components organized and within reach, preventing them from getting lost during repairs. Very strong and stable stand.
Very well made item. It is lightweight but very stable when holding a large and heavy RC truck. I can’t say enough good things about this stand.

The thing I didn’t know I absolutely needed.
So originally thought a stand may be useless or a waste of money but boy was I wrong. I when I am wrenching I’m on a desk that really doesn’t have too much room and generally the vehicle takes up most of the space and I gotta be careful not to knock anything over or off the desk. With this stand I can put the stand on the edge of the desk to the point where a lot of the car is hanging over the side of the desk which does two things, it opens up desk space for tools/parts/hardware/etc., and it also brings the work closer to me. I can also raise the stand which opens up even more space under the vehicle to place tools and other items. Fits my 1:8 scale and my 1:10 scale vehicles perfectly and I wasn’t sure the stand would work with my Arrma Outcast 6s without the tires touching but even with the the stand in its lowest position it has about a couple inches of clearance and I can raise it quite a bit from there. How it works is there is a inner shaft attached to the top platform that threads into the outer shaft that is attached to the base. All you do is spin the top platform clockwise to lower it and counterclockwise to raise it. There is a spot on the outer shaft for two grub screws to lock the inner shaft in place if you want the stand to be a little more stable or to lock it to keep from rotating. The one design flaw I noticed is that these grub screws that lock the shaft in place tighten onto the threads of the inner shaft which would damage them pretty easily I would imagine. Not a big issue for me seeing as I don’t find it difficult to work on the car with the stand set to spin freely and don’t see me needing to ever lock it into place. When not in use I keep this stand under my Axial Yeti shelf queen so the tires don’t develop an indent from sitting without use so this doubles up as a display stand as well. If you’re on the fence I say just go for it, I find this thing to be super helpful and makes wrenching so much easier.

So good we ordered another!
Great stand at an amazing price! Labeled big brand and does its job. One son uses it to fix his cars and the other uses his to store his newest.

Nice Stand, with a couple caveats
Pros:Height AdjustableMultiple size holes for shock building integratedIntegrated RulerLooksCons:Doesn't swivel like you'd think it shouldMagnet doesn't work for all types of hardware, recessed compartment would be betterAluminum slightly bent/warped in manufacturing or deliveryFlat packing for transport involves unscrewing the top and bottom pieces. (I just leave it assembled now and it takes up more space)While this stand does pack very flat, it requires you to unscrew the top and bottom. If you're looking for a quick up and down car stand that packs pretty flat and has integrated storage... look for the plastic stand made by Dura****. That is the stand I've seen most people using, and there may be a reason for that. That stand has a nice swivel, which I thought this would do as well... wrong... The post screws into the base. You can leave the post a little loose and essentially unscrew the entire thing as you swivel it around, but it is not a smooth action and then leaves the stand a little less stable. I like the two hole sizes for shock building, which is better than the other stand, and the integrated ruler for measuring suspension links or hardware lengths quickly, but if you're going for precision you'll be using a caliper anyways. While the magnet is nice when using steel hardware, it provides no assurance when using titanium, aluminum, or stainless hardware, which is where a nice recessed compartment would be better.I had no issues with assembly like others I've seen, though it does seem that the top piece of aluminum is slightly bent or warped. In all, this stand is usable. Although if I were to do it again, I would go for the plastic stand it seems everyone uses. I just liked the idea of having two different length rods for height adjustability. The reality is that I just always use the longer rod.
