We got the Legends Ultimate unit this past Christmas of 2024, with me knowing full well that it did not have much at all preloaded on it that anyone would be interested in. Our boys played for a few hours but it had been ignored for months now. I had no intention of signing up for any level of subscription -- sorry AtGames, there is nothing out there that is worth a subscription, not even for any of these 7,500 games offered by this seller. On top of that, the 300 games that the unit originally came with don't play vs two players out of the box, and out of all the crappy 4-bit Atari, the ONE that I actually wanted, Adventure, is the truncated version. Why would I give you guys more money?I was concerned about bricking this unit, mostly because all of the online info for doing any sort of upgrade focused on units that were only available years ago. This option here specifically worked on our newer HA8802 unit, though there were a few dicey moments during the install where I wasn't sure if it would keep going.In the end, this option worked, the unit did not brick, and I never had to contact the seller in a panic. It simply worked, and now I have the 30 games that I really wanted out of the 7,500. It did not have some of the 8-bit Atari that I've seen floating around, but it has enough, plus some things I did not expect. Nice trip down a 50 year-old memory lane. Thank you for keeping this alive, and I suppose AtGames too for making a decent functional arcade unit.

Ordered for my AtGames Legends 4K Pinball. USB stick came with link to detailed instructions. However, with the 4K ... you just need to insert the USB and all the games come up with no other effort under the BYOG feature. As others have stated, the number of games is extensive and you probably won't plan most of them. Therefore, it is best to spend a few hours and mark your favorites so you can quickly find them. For me, my favorites are the ones found in the arcades. However, there are games for every console going back to the Atari 2600 and Commodore 64. I did have a simple question which I submitted via email. They responded very fast ... within an hour or even minutes.My only cons are: 1. Too many games so time consuming to find the one you want (see favorites suggestion above). 2. Some of the old games might need you to remap buttons and may occasionally crash.Overall .... well worth the money.

First of, this works and has the ability to play TONS of games.Secondly, I reached out to the seller on a Saturday and got responses back immediately - FANTASTIC support!Third, just follow the instructions as written and this will work. You won’t need support.Lastly, if you are an IT person, see third above. Just follow the instructions. You might think “I shouldn’t format the drive from the arcade machine, as that’ll delete all the files.” WRONG, ha ha. It’s just formatting a small partition and leaves the relevant files intact.Great upgrade to the arcade machine!!!

Honestly looked at this like the old school jail broke Firesticks that may or may not have worked but this thing is awesome. Just bought the At Games Ultimate Legends console which had 300 games but just not the games I wanted so thought because I saved so much on the console I’d buy this “expansion” as well.I now have every game from every arcade console ever known to man!!!Install took me a little bit with instructions but got it up and running in about 1/2 hour and only had to email this awesome seller once during install with an immediate response!!!Keep in mind if you bought a newer Oct 24-present game counsel this will downgrade your firmware so you won’t get the better Home Screen graphics and music BUT you get so much more so it’s worth it.Seller informed the following when it came to firmware upgrade or downgrade:You have two options. You can use the drive and the older software or you can revert everything back to normal and pay atgames $100 to unlock BYOG mode. Then the drive will work on the newer software.

Bought this for our 4k pinball machine. It was pretty much plug and play through the BYOG feature. No need to use the longer usb stick or instructions on the 4k pinball. I just plugged the smaller one into usb2 and rebooted the machine. A selectable BYOG folder should show up with all the games ready to go. Picture is of centipede running on it. I've only tried 4 games of the thousands already on it, but so far so good. No need to map controls either. So far everything has worked with the arcade control panel without having to do anything.
