I’m not sure why this is but of all the controllers based on the GameSir chassis this one is the most solid, the best feeling in my hands, and works with my iPhone 16 pro max, which the other controllers that are GameSir branded, instead of nubia, refuse to acknowledge each other. It’s bizarre. I’ve tested it across all my controllers and this is the only one that works with my new phone.

Great with my redmagic 9s pro allows me to play my PS2 games wherever I go no issues I've seen at all except connections with codm but that's probably my fault

While Redmagic doesn't list compatibility with their NOVA Gamepad, as in it's default configuration it cannot accommodate the 10.9inch display of that tablet compared to their mobile phones. The Shadowblade 2 however is a rebrand of the Gamesir G8 controller which allows it to be easily modified using the very same extension sold here on Amazon!The Shadowblade features a much better look compared to the G8 and other variants in my opinion as Redmagic opted for a semi-translucent black shell for the controller, the Redmagic variant uses the Goper app instead of Gamesir's app which comes included with all Redmagic devices and allows for similar functionality without needing to go and install a separate app.In conclusion, this handheld is the perfect solution if you don't mind self installing the mod kit for extended compatibility with other devices like the Nova. Bluetooth controllers that are similar can accommodate the size without modding, but simply just won't compare to the latency of a direct connection which is best for gaming, and those don't allow you to pass-through charge the device, while also providing a 3.5mm jack which is missing on the Nova Gamepad but not Redmagic's phones so it's a really nice touch.

This is extremely awkward to use because there is no locking mechanism to hold it open so you're trying to position the phone inside it while simultaneously attempting to open the controller up enough to get the phone into proper placement. It's very awkward and almost seems intentionally done so you end up breaking it.
