Great vest! I was torn in what vest to get and I decided to try this one. Nervous as first because it was such a reasonable price but it’s great and easy to use!For reference, I’m female that 5’6 and 180 lbs. I went with the 12lb vest and I’m glad I didn’t go lighter. When you first pick it up it feels heavy but when you wear it the weight is evenly distributed, it’s comfortable, and fits well!It comes with a velcro phone case but I haven’t not used it yet for a phone because I usually have pockets on my leggings. However, I haven’t used it for dog disposable bags and it works great! I’ve used it for over a month and the quality seems very good so far!

I previously purchased a different style of weighted vest, which you can adjust the weights. I really did not like the design of that vest because, although it was designed for women, I felt like it pulled down too much on the chest and that area certainly does not need to be pulled down! Haha! I was looking for one designed like this that where I could still adjust the weights. I ran into this one, which has been made popular since a certain brand of home exercise equipment has added a few treadmill workouts with weighted vests. I was worried I wouldn't like that you can't adjust the weight, but, so far, I really like it! I got the 15 lb one and it seems just right. I often work out in the AM or mid-day and am on a sports team in the evening. It's about a mile walk to exercise class, so, I wear this on the walk too and from, and sometimes do a 30 min stair run/walk after working out, or, just walk/jog back. This is perfect because I'm not worn out, but, you do definitely know you're putting in more effort. You can jog easily or walk, or, really do whatever you want. Other reviewers say they keep this on while doing household chores, for example. It does have a smell, but, I kept it outside for a few days on my balcony after I was done exercising and now it's fine. The second day I had it, I left it overnight in my car and it didn't make my car smell or anything like that. It is just the normal smell that comes with Neoprene. I think it's a good value for this kind of product. I bought this instead of another similar one because it came with a bag for your phone, etc., but, I admit I haven't used the bag. I use my normal crossbody bag over the weighted vest, so that the crossbody bag strap isn't trapped. It's a little awkward, but, it works for the short distances I've used it so far.

I’m really happy with the ZELUS 20 lb weighted vest! Wearing it during walks and workouts adds an extra challenge that helps boost calorie burn and muscle engagement without needing extra equipment. It’s comfortable to wear, fits well, and the adjustable straps keep it secure during movement.It does have a slight smell out of the box, but it’s nothing too bad and fades quickly with some airing out. The reflective stripe is a nice safety feature for early morning or evening walks too.I’ve noticed better endurance and a more intense workout just by adding this vest to my routine. If you want to take your walking or fitness routine up a notch, this vest is a great investment!

Jumped on the middle age women weighted vest band wagon and I'm happy I did. First the pros. Although I haven't actually weighed it, I find the vest to be at the very least close to the weight it says it is (16lb). It fits nicely over my shoulders and there is no under arm rubbing or chafing. It is comfortable to wear. The cons. It has a smell. I am hoping the more I use it and air it out, the less it will smell. Very chemically. And it can't be washed. The chest straps are kind of awkward. I haven't quit managed to find the perfect tightness that doesn't cause some rubbing. That said, I like the vest, like the weight distribution and am happy with the purchase.

I read all the reviews before purchasing this vest. Yes, it does smell, but I set mine outside overnight, and it did mostly go away. I have had it for several weeks now, and I just love it. I am a 66-year-old woman and about 170lbs. I got the 12lb vest. It is the right weight for me.

This vest is super comfortable to wear and easy to put on—all while evenly distributing weight across my torso with zero hotspots. The black is a nice color without standing out too much. It’s held up beautifully through multiple long walks and feels balanced every time. The reflective stripes also give a nice safety boost during low-light outings. A solid, workout-ready vest that delivers on comfort and durability. I'm 6'2" and it fits me well.

Thing is nice !!! Surprised, well made, as comfy as 15lbs can be on your back. Better then my pack I use for hiking... Its well balanced and straps are sturdy !! Well made, will get plenty of use out of it for sure..

This was comfortable from the first time I wore it. It fits well and is easy to put on, remove and adjust. The chemical (petroleum-y) smell is very noticeable other than when I'm looking straight ahead. I'm going to have to store it in the garage (can't store in a closet, the smell is too unpleasant in a closed area). If not for that, I'd be totally satisfied with this product.
