Review of KFD 16V 2.5A Power Supply.A small power supply 90mm x 50mm x 25mm, this enabled by a 240v, 5amp fused power lead 1.2mtr long, then completed by a 1.8mtr lead, carrying 16volt, 2.5amp, terminated with a 6.5mm x 4.5mm right angled round plug with a 1mm centre pin.This power supply for specific peripherals as advertised, suitable for an old ink- jet printer I own but unable to use due to a lost power supply.Adapter duly fitted my printer burst into life, unfortunately the ink had dried out and hours of cleaning and soaking in suitable liquid were required before any use could be made.With new ink fitted and cleaning complete my little printer was once again in action thanks to this new power adapter, the adapter seemed to make light work of supplying the 40W required as only slightly warm in use and no power problems encountered, the round plug fitted securely into the printer socket.Not much else can be said about this adapter except it worked without problem, this on one of the printers it was advertised to be used with, it does appear well made with over voltage, over current and circuit protection, carries all the required regulation markings so should be good to go.
