Product-wise, the cable is absolutely fine, I can't fault it, used to connect a 2018 MacBook Pro laptop to a Dell U2410 monitor.My only criticism is on Amazon's own packaging - the "M1" sized cardboard wallet that the cable was packaged in was *unsealed*!Its only thanks to the fact that the cable was snuggly held by the cardboard envelope that it didn't fall out during transit. This is likely a one-off issue, never had any problems with their packaging before, but was surprised to find the envelope hadn't been glued properly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it does what it says

A wee warning - yes it is 1m in length, but that is from the tip of the connector to the tip of the connector. The cable itself is just over 90cm long. Not a complaint, as these are good quality cables, just a clarification re the description.

Good quality and reliable connections

Perfectly functional cable, theres nothing wrong with it. Just keep in mind that its 1.4, meaning it only outputs 4K at 30fps.

Après plusieurs déceptions avec des câbles à près de 50€ pièce (dysfonctionnement intermittent voire permanent au bout de quelques années) je suis passé à ces câbles bien moins chers et tout aussi efficaces ! J'en ai depuis plus de 4 ans et ils fonctionnent toujours aussi bien !Je recommande !

I purchased this Feb 2014. I was possibly having problems with my display connected a Plugable multi-dispaly unit. Their technical support suggested the quality of my HDMI cable may be the problem. I decided to replace it with a premium cable as they recommended.How do you find one? I'm not sure. Most of us have little experience with this computer hardware connection stuff. I do know that Startech.com stuff appear to be of high quality. I have bought many of their products. To me, their prices are a bit higher, but still definitely affordable and reasonable. Given this I I bought this cable based on their reputation. To-date, it has worked very well. It is will built and sturdy.

La mejor calidad. Hay quienes dicen que la calidad de los cables hdmi no influye en nada la calidad de la transmisión. Difiero de ésta opinión, porque éstos cables hicieron que uno de mis dispositivos funcionara correctamente, algo que nunca logré con cables de menor calidad.
