This cable works perfectly to achieve 1440p @ 120 hz. Your monitor needs to support freesync and turn variable refresh rate off in xbox settings if you experience display flickering.

Delivered quickly and working as described.Remember that the specific use case for this cable is that the Displayport end has to be plugged in to your monitor - it won't work the other way round!

part worked once. Second time I tried it nothing happened. Tried it with a different pc and screen but it still didn't work. Can't get a refund as it is now past 30 days. Do not buy!!

For Console Gamers - With Gaming Monitors
I recently bought an LG monitor capable of 2k 120hz to upgrade my console gaming experience.But for some reason was capped at 60hz through HDMI, doing extensive research could not solve this so had a brainwave to try the DP1.4 port instead.Brought this adapter and with the promise of same day prime delivery I didn’t think twice.So far my expectations have been met and I am more than happy to recommend this for those who are stuck in the same situation as I wasGood quality build, nice tangle free cable design, fast same day prime delivery and without the need for instruction just plug and play and for over half the price of other HDMI > DP adapters.All that being said, the only bad thing I can say about this adapter is:The HDMI source end that plugs into the console does heat up a lot but this is due to the usb cable that is required to plug into a power outlet to supply power to the cable. Will not work without this.I haven’t had it very long so can’t give an accurate long term experience review but so far so good…

HDMI to Dataport
Make sure you know which you need as these only go one way. I ordered a data port to hdmi first and it didn't work. So if your laptop only has a hdmi connection you need this one, a hdmi to data port not the other way round. Very good cable and works for me no issues.

Terrible product
I am very disappointed in this product, it worked amazing to start with but then the hdmi port end became very flimsy and broke. This item is not very well made and has now resulted in me going back to a traditional hdmi port
