Magic The Gathering The Lord of The Rings: Tales of Middle-Earth Commander Deck 2 + Collector Booster Sample Pack

My husband and I love playing magic together. We run clean games and never have liked playing with people. Every magic group I've been apart of has been toxic in how they okay with each other and how they speak to each other. There is no excuse for this. So my husband and I got a few decks that were themed and I got the whole doctor who set for my birthday from a friend. My husband and I have about 4 other people that we trust to play magic with us. But most the time we're playing each other. These cards are a lot of fun. We never wanted to get into collecting and all that nonsense. I had several friends get mad at me for not sleeving my cards. I don't like the way the sleeves feel on my hands. I shuffle tarot cards constantly and having the pointy ends of the sleeves tearing up my hands. I would yell them I'm not playing to play professionally or to collect cards. My opinion if your collecting the cards don't use them. And if you play with someone. Don't assume their in it to collect or play professionally. Some people just want to play a game and a clean game at that. My husband and I love the lord of the rings set so much we bought 2 sets so we can each play what we want and how we want since my husband does sleeve his cards. Over all if your thinking about it and can afford it I would get the themed decks because their a lot more fun.

My first MTG deck! I got into playing with my sons and they recommended this deck. I have since added some cards but as precons go this one is very playable right out of the box. Of course playing and winning are two different things 🤣. Anyone who watches the top tier competitions knows that the fun decks never win - the game is set so that only the most devilish evil decks can dominate…so I wasn’t surprised at the results. Our games last about 1-1.5 hours with 3-4 people playing upgraded LOTR decks. Tons of fun for a good price.

Great deck out of the box and pretty simple to pilot meaning it would be a great introduction to Commander. The deck can be upgraded very easily and cheaply too once you want to move on from the precon. The deck includes some very strong commander cards like Farseek, Birds of Paradise, Swords to Plowshare and Toxic Deluge. Highly recommended if you can pick up for retail!

This commander deck one of the funnest to play with out of all the commander decks I have. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Such a fun commander deck! I love how it uses food tokens in so many ways! But really all of the LOTRs cards are just amazing, and this doesn't disappoint!
