I would like to let people know that it's still possible to have a company stand by their product! In short, I purchased this recumbent bike to replace a bike that I had from another company in 2006. Since then, I've had 2 knee replacements and back problems. I can only use a recumbent bike due to my back and was unsure which one to purchase as a replacement. I googled "Top 10 Recumbent Bikes" and decided the Merach was the bike that best suited my needs. I had an issue with the center component of the bike and even though the time had lapsed (over 30 days) to get a full refund,(which I didn't want), the company had decided to issue me a new bike. I would like to thank them and their support team for all their assistance. I love this bike and how quiet it is. It was easy to put together and does exactly what I need it to do! Great company and GREAT BIKE! Definitely worth the purchase. It's so refreshing to have a company stand by their product!

This exercise bike is the BEST bike I’ve ever ridden! This bike is very high quality, made of sturdy tube steel with high end powder coating. All the screws, washers, bolts are neatly packaged in separate blister packs. Each blister pack is carefully labeled to coincide with the assembly instructions. Each one of these fasteners is powder coated and pre oiled to prevent any type of future rust.The packaging the bike comes in is very strong , foam wrapped. There was no damage whatsoever.I suggest cutting the top and bottom tape on the box, and slide it off, then start the unpacking of the bike.As for the assembly, the instructions are perfect, follow them and it will take you about 60 minutes.Go slow, and double check all connections, and bolt tightening.As for riding this bike, it is as smooth as glass!The wide seat, and sturdy back rest is very comfortable.I’m 65 years old, and just had open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve. My Dr. suggested I must ride a stationary bike on setting 1 for 30 minutes per day.This bike is easy on/off , no leg lift requiredI’m 6’ tall and I did not have the seat back all the way. My wife is 4’ 11” and with the seat all the forward she got a nice fit.You cannot go wrong with this bike. The price was $219. Unbelievable value 😎💪🏻

My husband are seniors and put this together in under 90 minutes with arthritic hands, bad knees, hips and spine issues. There’s a video you can watch which helped us. Pedals smooth. Nice for small spaces. I added a gel seat cushion. Seats a bit wobbly. Hopefully my hubby can fix this. It was missing some bolts we were lucky enough to swap from my old disassembled bike.

This little machine has been a very pleasant surprise. I wanted an exercise machine that gave me a good workout that I could just hop on at home and do for about 10 - 40 minutes without going to the Y. And I didn't want to pay a great price; it was $223.10 total, which I thought was great. I didn't want a bike seat because it seems that I've had too many of my buddies get prostate cancer who have biked a bunch (maybe no connection at all, but a bike seat just gets uncomfortable after a while). I had a 25 year old treadmill that just bit the dust, and being close to 70 I want to preserve my knees for the tennis court, if I can. I get a good workout and can get a good sweat going with a 20-40 minute workout. I'll stretch my upper body some while pedaling and have thought about doing some barbell stuff while I ride. This machine was easy to assemble (I liked the shrink wrapped cardboard with the nuts, bolts, etc. sequentially arranged according to assembly in their respective bubbles). I saw that some people had problems with the cable, but that was not a problem, thankfully, at all. I'm in pretty good shape I'd say for my age; I set the tension at a "5" out of 8, and the digital screen comes on when you start to pedal telling (in a rotating sequence) workout time elapsed, distance, speed, calories burned, pulse, lifetime mileage. It's very simple and is just the ticket for what I've wanted. This thing is made of iron tubing, I think, and it's substantial. I'm not that big (~5"6" and 155lbs), but it doesn't feel flimsy or poorly made at all; it has a good solid feel. I've got some 3M circular felt pads on each of the four ends of the two frame supports, and I can move this machine around on the hardwood floors with a gentle one-handed push, and yet it stays fixed very well when I'm on it exercising. So very convenient - and I'm actually using it and enjoying it. This is just what I wanted! I hope it continues!
