Got these after the family needed antibiotics, we just started so I can't speak to how well they work yet. They have not upset anyone's stomach like some other brands have and the capsules are very small so easy to swallow. Nicely packaged and dispatched quickly.

I really cannot praise these little pills enough!I'm in my late 20s, male, average height and weight, regularly exercise and eat healthily. About 1.5-2 years ago, I started suffering from extreme flatulence of the most intolerable kind. Frankly, it was disgusting! Not even lad points worthy. Just disgusting. It didn't seem to be IBS, it just affected my in an aesthetic way and knocked my confidence. I immediately started looking for a solution and eventually self-diagnosed myself as lactose intolerant. After cutting dairy completely out of my diet, I noticed some improvement. However, on a fairly regular basis, I was still producing copious amounts of noxious gases from an intolerance to another food stuff. I thought it might by gluten, but it doesn't appear to be so after I cut that out. It could be a wide variety of other foods, but it just takes forever to try and figure out which one it is, and it's incredibly frustrating and eating becomes a real drag! If you're reading this, then you may have been in the same boat as me; trawling through an infinitude of internet forums searching for the holy grail of solutions whilst eating boiled rice. Well.......I would never promise that these pills are the holy grail of solutions. Everyone has a unique set of digestive conditions. But, to me, they've been a dietary revelation. I read on the internet (NHS website, loads of forums) that probiotics might aid the latter digestive processes by increasing the concentration of useful bacteria in my small intestine(?). Popular milk/yoghurt-based daily shots were no use to me due to the lactose they contain, and also really expensive (although, if they worked, I'd happily pay it)! Instead, I tried these pills. I was initially sceptical. But I took them daily for 3 months (one bag) and I was, for the most part, symptom free. I still can't consume dairy, but the other, mystery offender(s) seem to be taken care of. Interestingly, I recently stopped taking these probiotic pills for about three weeks, after I moved house and couldn't find them, and the flatulence came back. In full effect. I found a couple lurking at the bottom of a bottle I'd used for holidays, started taking them and the flatulence stopped. I've ordered and started on another bag and the gas has gone.So a big thumbs up from me and bravo! I heartily recommend giving them a go. They're cheap and if they do work for you, your friends/family will probably be too polite to thank you for doing so, but they will appreciate it nonetheless, and you're confidence in public places will increase tenfold. I buy these for my wife. Normally, I have to crack open capsule and add them to her morning drink. With these, she can swallow them whole. They may not be as "potent" as a larger capsule (the one I take is 60 Billion bacteria) but, at least she can take these and has been every day for the past couple of years.Do they make any difference to her health? Well, as she's practically perfect anyway(my words, not hers) it's difficult to tell but I reckon there is science behind the benefits of taking good bacteria so we'll both continue to do so.
