Better than fabric softener
Fabric softener adds a layer that traps mildew over time. This product releases odors and trapped mildew. I love the fresh smell it leaves behind. You have to try it on your towels. They will actually dry you off!

Love the smell
I have an old-fashioned top load machine. This liquid is really made to put in a fabric softener dispenser. I wish I had one. I love the smell of this, but if I don’t catch my rinse cycle, which I seldom do, I can’t add the Downey. I’ve tried putting in with just the soap and it seems to work OK, but I really think this is better for somebody that has a machine with the built-in softener dispenser.

Mild fragrance does it's job
Works well on my towels. The ones that may have sat to long in between wash and dryer or didn't dry fully. I hate the s of that so this works to get rid of it instead of just masking it. The product scent isn't to powerful which I appreciate because to much fragrance bothers me.
