Fit my 7855 HP Envy Printer
This fit my HP Envy Photo 7855 perfectly. The ink dries quickly and have seen no smudges. It prints vividly and the price was lower than you would pay at department stores.

Works well with my 7858
So usually I hesitate buying OEM ink because wow they are pricey and my ink usually drives up before I finish the tank! I decided to go with the non-XL version of this to solve that problem. The ink has worked great so far and was easy to install. I can notice a difference between this and other versions...works well with my 7858. Would recommend although I know its hard to swallow the price!

Exactly what I needed.
Good ink cartridges. Exactly what I needed, good price. I bought another. I bought the wrong one and it was a mess.

Best in Quality, Value, Not-So-Much
I have been using HP printers and inks for the past 26 years. In my opinion they are the best quality for home printing projects. My gripe has always been the price of the ink. I print roughly 70% color/photos and 30% text/documents and I am always amazed (frustrated) at how soon I have to replace the cartridges. I don't think I print an especially high volume. I don't print everyday, maybe on average a couple pages or photos once or twice a week. Obviously, ink is where HP makes the money. Even though the cartridges are recyclable, I wish HP could do better, maybe make cartridges that can be refilled a few times. Not only would it be more economical for us loyal (trapped) customers, it would be more earth friendly too. Another issue of mine, I recently purchased my latest new HP printer and didn't realize (totally my fault) that the three colors come together in one cartridge. That means if I'm printing a lot more of one color for a particular project, I run out of that color while still having more ink in other colors. And, there goes another $50, . Every past HP printer of mine had all three colors (and the black) all in separate cartridges. Lastly, the cartridges are all black plastic so you can't see through them. HP probably doesn't want you to know how much ink is left in some or all of the colors when your printer tells you that you're out of ink. One more thing . . . during set-up of this new printer HP made me promise to use ONLY HP ink replacements . Maybe it's time to re-consider my loyalty to HP printers.

I have always been very happy with my HP products.
I have a HP inkjet printer that had not been used for almost 3 years. Cartridges showed nearly full but I guess somewhere there was dried up ink, which can happen even when unopened cartridges are left to sit for several years. Given the new design of the HP printer and HP ink cartridges, I did not have to replace print heads because they are built into the cartridges. Once new ink was installed, the printer works great. I have always been very happy with my HP products.
