Wow! Perfect Imaging!
I am comparing these huge ELAC Ceiling speakers to the smaller Klipsch CDT-3800-II, both were powered using a Monolith M7100X 90 watt multichannel amp and Denon 4500X AV Receiver.First, its a smaller speaker than the Klipsch but bigger cutout as the ELAC ceiling speakers comes with substantially more insulation and material than the klipsch, which seemed to have zero insulation properties. The bigger size unit and insulation allows the denon mic to calibrate these speakers at 90hz with rich, deep bass as opposed to the Klipsch which typically registered at 120hz and sounded very hollow. It seems the $100 difference between these and the other ELAC ceiling speakers is the angle and insulation, I’m sure both ELAC ceiling speakers sound equivalent and better than any other ceiling speakers imaginable. Not sure if the angle is worth the extra $100 but the sound ELAC Debut 2.0 series generates is unbeatable for the price. Based on user experience ELAC speakers beat Kef, Klipsch, Polk, Monolith, and Cambridge Audio at everything. I have not tried ELAC Subwoofers though and can’t say it would beat a REL subwoofer but I'm sure it sounds great as well!!

Perfect!
Sound better than a high end bookshelf speaker!! Love the entire ELAC Debut 2.0 line! Very neutral and natural sounding brand.

Don’t buy it from Amazon
Why?Because one of the two that I bought was not new. The box was different and it was marked as renewed by Amazon. That’s not what I paid for. Never again. There is a mounting issue. One of the four mounts does not completely rotate out of the way. It hits an air-core inductor. I was able to mount without damage but getting it out of the ceiling might be a problem. My installation is not ideal, kitchen area with all hard surfaces.I also have some Focal angled in-ceiling speakers and angled is the way to go.

Incredible speakers in most every way
These speakers check every box - from great quality, amazing sound, the ability to direct sound into the room - these are more than I could have asked for. For what you get, I feel these speakers are potentially underpriced. Stop looking... click that “Add to Cart” button now!

Love the sound of my Elacs
Using them for a 5.1.2 system comprised of B6.2 fronts, C5.2 center, Bic PL-200 II sub, OW 5.2 rears. Superb sound!

Hard to mount
The turning legs simply do not function because of a design flaw.
