This Brita water pitcher is outstanding! Needed to replace my old countertop one and I loved this pitcher right out of the box. Beautiful sleek modern look, excellent for refrigerator and keeping guests hydrated with ice cold water as much as they want! I don't have to give them water bottles any more! Drank a glass of the water for the first time this morning and yes, it is cold and delicious. This one is definitely a win-win item!

This is my second Brita water purifying pitcher using the standard filters, and I swear by them. I also have a countertop water distiller, but it's not as convenient as these filters when in a rush or when traveling. I have brought it with me when traveling to under-developed countries when I know I'm gonna be staying for an extended period. This is the perfect solution for that situation. 👌 I can't say the flavor is amazing or so drastically different than buying distilled or purified water from the store, but it's definitely more convenient than buying those jugs! Again, my go-to water source is my water distiller (you can't get more pure water with zero particulates than that), but these pitchers are a great plan B. Last thing, I like this model better than the other Brita pitcher I got because this one shows the status of the filter every time you pour. It will light up green in the spout letting you know the filter is still good. It will light up red if it's time to change. This is way better than my other one, because I would have to press down on the filter button to get that info before...and would forget. So this one is the better choice in my opinion.

Delivered quickly. A must have. I saved money and on recycling bottled water. So, I can afford the cartridges. Worth it!

We had a pitcher for a few years and the new one has been really a perfect fit for our needs at our home. Having purchasing this has reduced the needs of purchasing bottles of water.

We're not big fans of tap water, so a good water filter is a must-have in our house. And this Brita pitcher? It's been a daily staple for us. My wife especially loves having room-temperature filtered water readily available, and this pitcher delivers.It's a good size – 10 cups is perfect for our needs, and it fits nicely on the kitchen counter. The easy-fill lid is a nice touch, making refills a breeze.What I really appreciate is how much it cuts down on plastic waste. We were going through so many plastic water bottles before, and this has made a huge difference.The SmartLight indicator is also super helpful. No more guessing when it's time to change the filter. It just takes the guesswork out of it.Now, a little tip from our experience: make sure you clean the inside of the pitcher every 2-3 weeks or so. We learned the hard way that if you neglect it, you might start to see some green stuff growing. But a quick wash keeps it sparkling clean.Overall, this Brita pitcher is a fantastic and reliable water filter. It's made our daily life easier and helped us be more eco-friendly. 5 stars!

Mom actually buys these, she likes a 2 step system she does where she uses a Brita filter and then a Pur filter, because each system uses a different base for filtration. She prefers a larger cup size on the filter and likes if they can both fit in a clean fridge.As far as build quality there are some issues with it not having an air tight seal. This combined with our current apartments fridge (which has odor issues inside it) leads to her feeling as though there is an undesired aftertaste. She does not have an issue with the aftertaste right after filtering.Cleaning is simple enough for her as she puts the pitchers in the dishwasher every couple weeks and runs them.She prefers the pitcher models over a sink model because she believes the sink models don't adequitely filter the water and that they weigh down the spicket part leading to degredation in the threading and increases chances of leaks.

This pitcher is much better than the Amazon Basics version that I returned when the filter status indicator stopped working after a couple weeks. It is much easier to refill and the color coded filter status system is great.
