Works great at pulling water in my small apartment. I placed it in the closet, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. It takes about 2-3 days to see the water. The smell isn’t strong at all. It helps the room feel less humid and musty.

Therefore you will never get a musty, moldy smell in those household areas that don't get a good air exchange. I use them in closets. Also, hang one up in a car that I don't use that often.

I don't normally write reviews. I think this is my first but I had to. This product works. I was having moisture issues in my basement and it had a smell. I bought 4 packs, 3 comes in each back. I hang all 12 damprid in my basement and within 1 day there was liquid in the bag. By day 2 the bags had much more liquid and the smell was start to leave. Day 3 and 4 the smell was gone the air was fresh and the bags had collected more liquid. This really works. I had bought a dehumidifier for my basement now I am thinking I might not need it.
