Not working? Flip the fan blades around!
This is going to sound like a really dumb mistake...but after putting this together (5 minutes and a phillips screwdriver) this thing moved hardly any air at all. I was SUPER disappointed. However, it was moving SOME air. I figured if I had the blades on facing the wrong way it wouldn't move any air, or maybe it would blow backwards? WRONG.You want the set screw on the fan hub TOWARDS the motor. Its harder to assemble this way and it seems like it wouldn't make a difference, but IT DOES! It went from a steaming pile of garbage to....well, a tornado!Likes:-Moves a lot of air-Seems well built-Oscillates properly-Makes my garage feel significantly cooler!Dislikes:-The only way to turn oscillation on/off is a knob on the top of the motor. I mounted the fan up high so it would be out of the way and move air around unobstructed. At over 6ft tall, I still need a step stool to turn oscillation on/off. I've decided to leave it on.-The cord could be a few feet longer, but I knew this when purchasing-Not the quietest thing out there, but its an industrial type fan... Its not an annoying tone though, can be tuned out easily enough, and if you have a radio going I forget its even on.- 3 speeds seem like medium, high, and higher? A lower setting would have been nice as there's not a huge difference between the 3 speeds. For the sub ~$100 price, I don't think you can beat it. I would absolutely recommend it.

Outstanding customer service.
Couldn’t ask for better customer service. The mount didn’t match the fan. They sent me a new mount, however that didn’t fit. So they just sent me a whole new fan assembly, which works great. I kept the old fan. I’ll find some way to get an adapter to make it work. Outstanding customer service.

It works to move air.
Fan moves a ton of air! I had a problem with my first one rattling so I reached out to the company directly and they sent me a new fan and it was at my house in 3 days. Great fan, great customer service! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Old school works great
The media could not be loaded. The people who complained about the CFM MUST have installed the blade wrong. The blade needs to be installed with the set screw on the underside AND on the flat of the shaft. If you put the blade on with the set screw facing you (which is easier to tighten) you will have little to no flow. I didn't read the instructions so my label is not facing the right way but then again I ended up mounting mine upside down (on purpose) anyway. My only complaint is that the mount has horizontal holes for stability and for me on a block wall its great but if I were to mount this to a wall stud I would be drilling vertical holes in the center of the round mounting bracket. Well built old GE type knockoff that blows a ton of air even on low. Cost to run around the clock at .14 cents per KWH is about $10 a month.

Buyer Beware
This is a FIXED head fan. You cannot tilt it up or down to get the right angle of air. If it's hung too high, the air will blow above heads. This fan has several assembly pitfalls. When you remove the screws from the head to attach the screen, there are two washers that can slip into the motor vents. When attaching the blades, the set screw MUST be on the bottom or else you won't get any airflow. You also must gauge the height of the blade so it doesn't hit either screen when turning it on. Also when mounting the outer screen, the screw is very small and strips easily. Installing the plastic plate cover, the screws are inset so deep that they fall off the screwdriver before you can get the threads to engage. There are more pitfalls but I don't have enough characters left to tell you. Just beware. The fixed head position is a show stopper for me.

Needs a little more action and a little less noise.
Got this installed in the garage, seems well made, well packaged and easy to install.1. It always oscillates. Not a big issue but most that I have seen have an oscillate on/off select.2. LOUD. Even on the slowest speed it's loud. That wouldn't be as big of a deal if it wasn't for...3. Barely moves any air at all. I genuinely thought that I had neglected to tighten the grub screw holding the blades to the motor shaft. There is a lot of noise but so little air movement it's crazy.I could tolerate the noise if it really moved air but, it doesn't. My tiny 10" Tornado move a LOT more air and is a lot more quiet but, it doesn't oscillate or wall mount.I'd return this but it would be an enormous PITA to try and ship back.I would steer clear if I were you.
