Works great! Better than expected!
I was looking for a smaller, inexpensive vaccum to use mostly on my hardwood floors. I have one cat and otherwise don't have much foot traffic. I mainly was wantinf something to clean up cat hair with. After days and days of research I finally settled on this bad boy(which was cheaper than the other options I found I might add).Other reviews I've seen bring up the battery life a lot. I personally have no issue with it. I vaccum my whole house daily minus my carpeted areas. I can get about 3 days out of my battery before needing to charge it. After vacuuming I usually pop it on the charger just so I know it's ready to go.The "turbo" mode, as I like to call it does take more battery and it kicks on when it thinks it's needed (think rugs, or areas with a lot of dirt and debris). I will say the vaccum does try to eat your rugs and will suck them up in the brush causing the vaccum to turn off. Otherwise no complaints there, the suction is great, almost too great for the rugs and cat toys haha. For those with cats, it does pick up cat litter decently, you do need to go over it more than once and of course when removing/emptying the canister, do it over the trash for any loose pieces. The added light on the front is great to really see what's on the floor and what spots you've missed. You can unattach the floor attachment for a handheld vaccum(works great for couches and vehicles) however I do wish there was a brush attachment. The canister is smaller but again I have no issues with emptying it after each vaccum and sometimes can get away with every two to three vaccums. It is pretty light weight considering however I feel like it would still be a bit on the heavier side for someone who is older.A bonus is that the brush roller easily pops out to be cleaned( to remove any hair wrapped around it) to keep it working as it should. The part with the filter is a little tough to pull out at times but overall not too much of a hassle. It handles good and rolls fine although the wheels can be a little squeaky. It is decently loud on the turbo mode but not too horrible on the level 1 mode.Overall I would recommend, it's great and better than expected. It's not big and bulky and gets the job done at a great price.I will say I'm not too sure how well it would hold up battery and canister wise for mostly carpeted houses with multiple pets. But for mostly hardwood with 1 or 2 animals you should be good to go!

For the price? A+
I feel silly, how much I love this little vacuum.I've got a small cabin, about 600sf. There are hardwood floors and a couple of area rugs. The battery is only adequate (thus, 'for the price'), but one charge gives me enough juice for a couple of full vacuumings.I appreciate the auto switching between low and high power, depending on surface being cleaned. The cup and filters are easy to clean out; the unit is lightweight and freestanding. The absence of a power cord? Priceless! My floors are staying more consistently clean than ever before.

Handy, light duty tool
I really like this. Been using a lot. Use it to clean bare concrete shop floor and paint floor areas. Converts to nice hand vac. Manage expectations, it’s light duty tool. I already had a large number of B&D batteries and will use Porter cable batteries once they’re modified to fit (easy) to do with Dramel tool. Carpeted areas may pose a challenge. Not meant to replace corded vacuum. NOTICE, the filter canister is designed to disassemble to empty and clean, rather than removing filter and trying to shake contents out. If you have limited hand strength, use pliers to grip interior gray structure and pull it straight out.

Great product, only can't charge without removing the battery.
It works great and is worth every penny.Although there are two things that slightly bother me, I still like the product overall.1. Charging the device requires removing the battery, as it’s not possible to charge it while it’s attached to the hanging attachment.2. The speed of the device varies a bit, which is tiny bit unusual. I understand that it automatically adjusts the speed, but it hasn’t been able to maintain a steady speed. These are minor issues, but they do not affect the overall experience.

II have FOUR of these things! Incredible for the $$$!!! [important need to know below]
I got one originally. Thing worked so good and was so light I ordered another for my 90 year old mother - she LOVES it too! Got them for a BenJammin’ which is unbeatable. I found it was picking up fine dirt and ‘stuff’ that my HUGE Vac was leaving behind. My only “complaint” (if you could call it that) is the thing fills up with dirt ALL TOO FAST! It is not intended to be your main Vac, but me and Mom are using it that way! SOooo, that brings us to TWO more - one upstairs and one downstairs, each, FOUR ~ I mean, WHY NOT?! And I have a spare basically.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: B&D and Porter Cable are “sisters” if they are 20V MAX labeled. I have a dozen Porter Cable tools and 10 batteries, big & small. The B&D battery will NOT fit the Porter Cable chargers due to housing design. HOWEVER, a minor housing modification (that does NOT effect their design) to the Porter Cable battery allows it to be used on the this B&D Product. It’s online. The Porter Cable chargers I have are the big block style about 2-3 times the Battery size. These charge in LESS THAN 1/4 of the time of the “slip on - shoe” style does for the B&D and since the B&D does not fit the Porter Cable chargers, I have ended up using the Porter Cable Batteries pretty frequently! DO NOT use the B&D charger on the Porter Cable to be safe. One reason I bought the ‘next three’ is that the Brush Head {Beater Bar per DEWALT] works very ‘deep’ in carpet meaning I expect it to have substantial wear as much as I am using it. I went on Amazon and found a replacemen for HALF of what I paid for the whole unit! It then disappeared. Great I thought. I kept plugging in teh Model Number truncating the end in a attempt to get more hits. This “DEWALT Roller N892816” ALWAYS came up on the top of the list but one end did NOT look like mine. The more I looked at it the more I knew it had to be the same as B&D’s “mother” is DeWALT. I took mine out and pulled the end cap (with a ball bering inserted) and it came right off. It is the SAME so I will order at least one set of spares because it is now only 1/4 of the BenJammin’! AGAIN that description is: “DEWALT Roller N892816”
