Not for KLF 300 C
The light switch portion of this switch is incorrect for my KLF 300 4x4 regardless of the OEM part number, it does not turn on the brights, only the dims, This may be correct for a 220

Don't waste your money
Finally got around to installing this and it's all wired wrong. I turn on the headlight and it cranks the engine over. Wasted money, wouldn't buy again. Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give 0.

Works except when switched to high beams for lights.
Not as sturdy as original, but the price is right. Lights will NOT work on HIGH with this device, as noted by other purchasers. You have to solder a connection between the brown wire and open terminal on the light switch to get the lights to work when switched to bright.

Works, but not sure for how long
So the price is very attractive, but the fitment is a little off. I bought this for a 1998 kawasaki prairie 400 4x4 and the fit is a little small. It doesn't close tight around the handlebar and leaves a gap. I'm OCD, so it drives me crazy. On a second note, after using for a few days the start button started acting up. You have to push it up and in to make contact. I don't think it will last long, but not a bad price to purchase for trouble shooting before buying an OEM one.

Hi beam switch will not work
This will not allow the high beams to work. The brown wire is hot and in the low beam position sends power to solid red for tail lights and red/white stripe for low beam.In the high beam position there is only solid red for tail lights and red with black stripe for high beams. To be correct a jumper wire should be soldered from the brown wire to the empty terminal which I did and works correctly.Buyer beware!
