It's small enough to fit in a backpack, a locker, etc. & Because of that, at this price point, you probably can't expect better sound or volume. However, I feel like I need a better stereo and if you really love music you may end up needing an upgrade as well. It would be money down the drain in that case.The battery life is fine at moderate levels but drops much more quickly if you are producing some volume. At max volume, just below the level at which it starts to distort, it's good for 3 or 4 hours I would guess.I cannot make this connect to my computer for sound. It stutters and breaks. It would have worked well in that role when I got an upgraded unit but they just don't work together when you even can get them connected.It should pawn $20 may as well just gift it to someone.

Good sound and battery life for the time I had it was good. Easy to transport. But When I put it in the water it flipped the speaker sound side into the water so we couldn’t hear any music. I had to return it.

This rock Box sounds great for its size but I went for the rock Box XL as it's a little larger and has much better sound. It is worth the extra cash it's one of the best Bluetooth speakers you're gonna hear in that price range

My wife teaches dance and we just had a pool put in. I thought it would be a great speaker for both. The sound is ok except the rattle if you get the volume up. Battery life is great though!

Sound quality is great.Long life of the batteryEasy to carry, not heavy not huge. I took a picture with a pen next to it so you can get an idea of the size.The only issue I got into, after some days the speaker started to get interference during using Bluetooth iPhone, after talking to Amazon customer service which buy the way it was great service, they suggested to reset the speaker and showed me how it’s done and it did worked.
