EASY to install, works without any adjustments. I have over one hundred hours on furnace, no problems.

This is an upgrade all the way around extremely quiet and powerful
What an incredible deal! If you have tested your sail switch and that's not the problem then just buy this and be done with it. Slips right in old sleeve and works great! This is upgraded and it is surprisingly more powerful and much more quiet than the 10-year-old model that is in my RV. Worth every penny! Don't bother replacing your motor or control board if your heater is already 7 years old or older you'll just start having other problems with it especially if it's in a RV that is lived in like a park model and used frequently just upgrade just buy this and put it in it's an upgrade all the way around

Successful, easy replacement for former Suburban NT34-SP makes for warm happiness
Even though this furnace is about 4k BTU less than my original NT34SP, but you would never know it. I'm getting better heating with this core replacement.I did not need the supplied wire harness as the former was wired exactly the same and fit like a glove. It's nice to save a couple buck with not having to buy the box the furnace sits in. There is certainly nothing wrong with my old one and the core slipped in it like it was made for it. Perhaps it was.

Suburban not much help
After 6 months of use in our 35’RV that we live in, the fan in this unit started making a louder noise, indicating that it was not working properly. Because the fan was only turning about half speed, the heating core would start to smell, indicating overheating. It had 1 1/2 years left of the 2 year warranty. Upon further review of the warranty, and a call to Suburban, they ask that the unit be serviced by one of their service centers. But, they will not pay for freight for new replacement parts. This replacement core was bought on Amazon, and my husband installed it perfectly, but they insist it be taken to an authorized service centers, (which is 130 miles away)! The first option that they gave was to return to Amazon (30 days only). After full review of the warranty, it seems that they use many reasons to decline the customer good warranty service.Suburban will not just send another unit, nor the parts to fix. NOT HAPPY.

Overthinker’s thoughts
Our SF-30 furnace stopped working (would turn on, fan would spin and would hear clicking but no heat and within like a minute it would shut off. Replace the sail switch with the best oem look alike I could buy but it was still the $8 cheap black one. Worked for a couple times then stopped working again. Figured it could be the sail switch again or motherboard ($20 part or $150+) so to skip buying something and taking it all apart and it not work and having to wait all over again and repeat the process I just bought the replacement core. My initial concern was the gas hook up but it comes with the adapter piece to make it go up and fit smoothly. Next was the wiring because I have 0 experience but I just disconnected from shore power and the battery and tripped the breakers off (over kill I know but I’m a noob lol) took a video of how it was already connected and repeated the same. Only concern I had was the two blue wires since one had a stripe and on the old unit they were solid but the one with the strip goes to the small red wire. Super easy instal, fires up everytime now. Gonna take the old one to a shop and get diagnosed for $35 and replace whatever’s wrong exactly for a reliable back up. Great product

Check it over before installing it! It can save you hours.
The description looks good but… take a little time to look it all over before installing into the outer case of the heater. Hower, I was in hurry to get it back in service. Hooked it to propane, checked for leaks, hooked up12 volt supply. Connected the thermostat wires together, and the fan operated, but that was all. Repeated many times. Disconnect from propane and electricity and fill out return request and pack it up for return. However, since since it was “tested at the factory”, I must have done something wrong. Unpacked and looked it all over very carefully and noticed a wire in an obscure location was not connected. It would have NEVER passed a test at the factory. It is now operating like it should. I have had three of this model of Suburban RV heater, and they have all been great. Hopefully this one will be too! Lesson: check EVERY thing first and save hours of frustration.
