Yes, this is cheap, cardboard like material. I can see where if you tried to move it while fully packed it might not survive. But it's put together in seconds and fits the bill to store a pile of CDs that had just been laying around and the price fit the bill, so I would still recommend it. Just be aware that this is not heirloom furniture

These shelves are stackable; I have quite a few cd’s collected over many years; they are Classical. They are easy to get to when you arrange them the way you want them.

Very weak adhesive.
For $20, not worth the money. Fell apart immediately when picked up with CDs inside. I used wood glue and clamped for a day, and then OK, but the recycled material is not worth the price. This would be very easy to make with a small saw and pine lumber, wood screws, glue. Should have made it myself and will for the next.
