Brickell Shaping Paste Pomade is a low shine pomade that will give you medium hold but lasting all day long. I like to have this product alongside Brickell's Texturizing Pomade and I switch back and forth with them based on the days activity or how long my hair gets between haircuts. As my hair gets longer and heavier, I need the higher hold of the Texturizing Pomade. This Shaping Paste is great for after my haircut as it leaves you looking like you don't have any product in your hair but it holds well throughout the day. All natural ingredients make this worth the value.There is no scent to speak of, its a white paste- it won't scoop into your finger as easily as the Pomade does. It sort of chunks up but it will easily apply to the palm of your hand and then into your hair. I like to use it with damp or dry hair. Damp makes styling and working it through your hair slightly easier.Will continue to use both this and the texturizing pomade.

Excellent pomade! It's very thick and rich so a little goes a long way. I've been finding it works really well to give some control to my hair (which is curly and a bit coarse.) It's described as "medium hold" but I find that it really holds up all day. To me, it actually feels like it's making my hair feel healthier and even a little thicker after applying it. Because it's pretty dense, I have been finding it helps to really warm it up in your palms before applying. Love the scent which is light and fresh (can definitely smell the lemon peel coming through.) Well done, Brickell. Another great product!

I like how this pomade holds like the clay pomade, but is a little easier to apply to dry hair because of the wax ingredient. Rubs into the hands nicely and spreads more evenly over your hair. It does have a strong hold, which is equivalent to the strong clay pomade, imo. This pomade maintains its grip throughout the day in the same way the clay pomade does, losing some firmness after about 5-6 hours (especially if you touch it), but I find that it lingers a little longer due to the wax ingredient. And, it’s worth noting that it adds a touch of shine to you hair, but not much.The scent is the same as the others - smells like light mint to me.Overall, I might favor this one over the others (and I’ve tried almost all of the Brickell pomades) because I like strong hold coupled with easy application. I can live with the fact that the waxy texture will stay in my hair until I wash it because it’s not overly waxy. In my search for the best of all worlds (strong hold, low/no shine, light scent, easy application, easily rinsed out, not greasy) I think this is about as close as I can get.

I've tried a lot of different hair products, but this Pomade is by far the best! It provides the perfect balance of hold and flexibility, allowing me to style my hair exactly how I want without it feeling stiff or greasy and no annoying residue left behind!

I like this product because a little bit goes a long ways. It doesn’t make my hair crunchy or oily. It has a nice hold on my hair and still makes it “manageable”. If you’ve ever used Bed Head or something similar, you will really like this product. It also works well using it in the middle of the day. What I mean by that, most of the times I use this product when I get out of the shower, however, it works fine on dry hair. Give it a go, doesn’t leave your hair crunchy, oily. Your hair looks natural with a nice medium type hold.
