An Excellent replacement of toxic teflon tawa
Writing the review after using it for 2 months. The tawa is superb and nothing sticks to it if heated properly. It's a bit heavy so handle with care. No need to wash daily or it would start to rust. Overall it's a good replacement for your toxic teflon non stick tawa

Good quality product
Just wash the tawa thoroughly 3 times using dish wash soap and season it by frying onions in oil to golden brown before 1st use. Maintain the temperature while cooking dosa. Initially keep in high flame and once you see smoke, keep in low or medium flame. Mind the dosa batter consistency for non sticky dosa (shouldn't be too thick or too watery). If you are not an expert, make first dosa thick and subsequent try thin and crispy dosa. Always oil the dosa tawa soon after using it. You're welcome.

Extremely Heavy Weight and Cooks Evenly only in Center
The tawa is extremely heavy and not easy to handle at all. I've tried making both roti and dosas - rotis do not cook evenly and dosas stick to the pan despite seasoning it. I wanted to use it regularly to see if it gets easier and it doesn't.Edit: Dosas come good after oiling it, salting it and letting it get really hot. So I like the Dosas made on it. But it's still extremely heavy to lift and clean. Due to it being big, the edges don't get hot and leads to uneven heating.Only buy it if you're used to big and heavy utensils and have bigger stoves.
