Very good
Very good for my house. I’m not an audiophile but this sounds great for my normal ears. It sounds even better when you set it to movie mode - the bass sounds better this way. I’d recommend.

Nice!!
As a self professed audiophile nut who has spent many thousands of dollars on a whole variety of audio equipment over the decades, I will give you my take on this product. This is quite a tall unit as compared to similar products. Measure your install space prior to your purchase. Very attractive! The remote will not control your tone (bass and treble) so you are obligated to make those adjustments on the unit. This is far from a dealbreaker as you are tuning for your room acoustics, not your source material; a set it and forget it task. The feedback as to how it is connected is fair at best. It can be hard to visualize the associated lights in a bright environment. The Bluetooth pairing was simple to accomplish. The main use for my unit though is as a sound source for my TV. The speaker does need a bit of time for the needed break in. Do not judge the unit initially, consequently. I own two similar units (an older and newer version) each from Cambridge Soundworks and BOSE. This is a fine piece of audio equipment and surpasses the aforementioned units in sound quality not to mention the addition of Bluetooth functionality. The highs are crisp but not fatiguing. The lows are confident and with good transiency. There is little need to add a sub here, although connections will allow for such an addition. To sum up I easily recommend this purchase if you are looking for such a device. It is worth way more than the $150 I paid. Way more.

I use this for my PC sprakers
This sounds great, I have them hooked up to my PC and I can also play music and podcasts from my phone via Bluetooth. Much better than normal PC speakers. It would be great for a small apartment too, or a bedroom.

Edifier D12 Tabletop Speaker Great Purchase
I recently made a great purchase: the Edifier D-12 tabletop speaker for my office. The sound quality in my ten-by-twelve room is excellent, with clear treble and bass. Both the side panel control knobs and the remote control make it easy to operate. I've connected the speaker to my iPad Pro and iPhone, and I mainly use it to enjoy Smooth Jazz, watch YouTube and Hulu programs, and listen to NFL football games. Setting it up was quick, and the Bluetooth pairing happened almost instantly—it's truly plug and play. For the price, you won't find a better-quality speaker for a small room like an office or bedroom.

Slightly disappointed - Updated
I've had two other Edifier book shelf speaker sets and they sound great! This speaker, the D12 weighs a ton and sounds good except when the volume is turned up and no input provided, there is a low volume whine coming out of the speaker. I have verified the whine is coming from the internal cicuitry by unplugging all inputs and only plugging the speaker into AC in a location far away from any other electronic devices. I typically only listen to the speaker on low to medium volume so the whine is not noticable but I am slightly disappointed with the speaker.I will keep it since I don't want to go through the hassele of returning and not sure if a replacement would be any better.Sorry to have to lower my original rating by one star but I have discovered another problem with the D12 speaker. I am using it on a VIZIO D32 series smart TV. The TV has poor audio, small rear facing speakers and I wanted to improve the sound so I bought the Edifier D12. It now appears the D12 remote IR commands are using some of the same codes of the VIZIO TV. When I press the down arrow on the TV remote, the D12 toggles off. Pressing the up arrow and down again toggles the D12 back on. I suspect other TV remote buttons are affecting the D12 operation since I have to keep manually readjusting the volume on the D12. I'm surprised Edifier (a Chinese company) would build a product that uses the same remote control codes as the VIZIO TV (another large Chinese company). I really don't need to control the D12 via remote so now I need to locate the IR photocell on the D12 and disable it, cover it up with a piece of tape I guess.

Can't be beat for the price. I love it! Real wood enclosure sound...
I needed a small powered stereo speaker for a bedroom that would sound much bigger than its size. I wasn't looking for bass heavy party machine or a portable bluetooth speaker in metal/plastic. I wanted something with true warmth that only a wood enclosure can provide. Yet price was a real consideration as this was part of my holiday bonus. After a lot of research I settled on this speaker from Edifier. It isn't portable and has some weight for its size, but it sounds rich and clean with a lot of power. What sealed the deal for me were the inputs. You have a "really easy to connect to" BlueTooth 5.0, RCA inputs, and a stereo mini phone plug input. I am using the system with several sources including a tablet, my phone, and a portable CD deck. All of them sound great, but hard wiring in does add extra fidelity to the sound. So if you are looking for a powerful warm speaker with a smooth EQ curve and good highs look no further. You won't find a wood enclosure that will be a better deal or sound better in this price range. Plus it looks great!
