Easy cabinet handles
This Item makes easy work of cabinet handles. It has steel drill bushings so you can drill right through the jig. I drilled holes for 36 handles in about an hour and a half including installing the draw pulls This jig is worth every penny

Will make you a pro installer
I needed to drill out well over 200 holes for cabinets in my new house, and was dreading the measuring until I saw this item. I gave it a maiden run on an out of the way cabinet, and it put the holes exactly where I needed them. The hardest part is ensuring the spacing width for the handles is perfect - the markings on some of the pieces can be hard to read so you really need to measure 3-4 times to be sure it is where you want those holes to be, because once you drill, game over.Assembly was quick and once this baby is dialed in, you can just go from door to door without changing anything (assuming the doors/drawers are all same size of course).Tips:1) I was struggling with the hole spacing once I had the centerline: I ended up just putting the screws through the template drill holes and attached the handle, then moved to handle center to the center of the jig centerline and tightened. Once you remove the screws, you just lay the template against the door and go.2) Drill a pilot hole instead of trying to drill all the way through the template. The job will go a lot faster if you have pilot holes then go back around and drill straight through. You can drill straight through but then you need one hand to hold the template... much easier without the template in the way.3) For opposing doors: Just flip the jig - no changes need to be made.4) If you have to cut the longer screws down, they are 8-32 and best tool I found is one of those wire strippers that have bolt cutters built into them (like $9 on amazon).A few cons: the holes in the handles could be cleaner - some screws go in easily, some are tight and I broke off three screws by trying to force them - and good luck getting the broke screws out.Get some #8 washers because it will be a thousand times easier to pop a washer behind the screw head when a drawer/door has a tiny gap because the screw is a hair too long- trying to cut the longer screws down will drive you insane if you are just trying to take it back 1-2 threads.

Why didn't I buy one of these before?
My wife bought hardware for cupboards in the laundry room that required drilling holes in each of the doors. I immediately had a nightmare that after installing they would be ever so slightly off, and it would drive us both crazy.I found this and figured for the price it was worth it. Sure enough - after setting up the first one we had all the doors taken care of in a few minutes and everything looks great! So worth doing...except now she's lining up other projects for me ! :)

Probably should get a better one!
Not a whole lot to say that hasn't been mentioned. It's plastic, which might not be a problem except that I think it's slightly warped or something. I am a bit compulsive with measures and symmetry. So maybe your everyday person wouldn't notice, but despite my best efforts to USE the tool, I still had to "eyeball" the placement to make sure it came out correctly. I tried to trust the device initially, willing to admit that my "eye" is capable of error.....but in this case, my eyes were right and the tool is wrong. Giving it 3 stars because at least it saved me some time not having to measure the handles for each door and drawer. But having to correct the placement by eye is weird! If I were doing more cabinets and doors I would buy a metal tool but since it was a one time, this is now done and in the garbage!

Don't try to install door handles on your cabinets without this Cabinet Hardware Jigs
I learned the hard way before I bought one of these that the holes for the Handle bolts must be drilled at an exactly 90 degree angle. This Hardware Jig give me a 90 degree hole every time. I suggest to measure to the nearest millimeter exactly where you want to drill. I drill the top hole first by drilling, without the Jig, a 1/16 bit. I the use th Jig which I prepared ahead of time to line up exactly with the previously marked hole locations, to drill the top hole with a 3/16 bit. I then put in one of the long bolts to hold the top hole of the jig in place. I then drill the bottom 1/16 pilot hole using the Jig followed by drilling the Bottom hole using a 3/16 bit. Measuring accurately is more important than drilling. Have A Happy Day:-)
