Easily put together. It took me about 5 minutes. Instead of putting on all of the big spikes first, I worked my way from one side to the other. It’s easier.To use it on top of an artificial tree, use a couple of the branches and wind them around the bottom spike to secure the star.It looks better on a bigger tree. It's really too big for smaller ones, but that's just my taste. 😊Highly recommended!

I live in "Moravian Christmas City" and could not find a Moravian star tree topper locally. A real shock. But, went to the 'net, searched and found this vendor. Arrived on time, beautifully packaged, and with clear, easy instructions. Assembles exactly like the larger version of this iconic star. Should last for decades. Unique attachment device makes tree display super easy. If you want a Moravian Star tree topper, this is it. Unfortunately, heavy s&h makes it a bit expensive, and made in China.

It's comes in pieces and must be assembled, but goes together easily. Not sure why others have had trouble. Turn the points 45 degrees and twist. Don't try to snap the directly in place, and assembly was a breeze. Bright, but not overpowering. Exactly what we were looking for.

This star is made of cheap plastic that you get to assemble yourself. I almost sent it back because it does not look like the picture. But..wait..once plugged in and lit, it looks great. It looks like the picture. We are happy with it.It attaches to a stiff straw which attaches to the tree with zip ties. Not elegant, but adequate.

Two main difficulties:1. Getting it on the tree was an issue. The description says it has a clamp to attach it but, that’s not true. Instead, there are green zip ties that don’t really match the color of a Christmas tree. Also, how is one supposed to zip tie such a multi dimensional solid piece of plastic on top of a tree? It doesn’t work out so well.2. Putting it together also was a challenge. You have to be very careful not to break each spike as you gently nudge each piece into place. It’s difficult.Also, please note that this is a bright white light so if your Christmas tree has soft lights, this is going to clash.I wouldn’t advise buying this as a tree topper.

I don't understand all the negative reviews. They're so easy to assemble that a monkey can do it, just read the directions and insert each piece at a 45° angle then twist it into place, geez. What's nice about them is that they can be disassembled to store and then re-assembled when you want to put it up. Some reviews said that it isn't an LED bulb but it sure is, as an incandescent bulb would generate too much heat, and these being an LED bulb don't generate any heat at all. I changed the clear bulb in this with a blue one to match the blue LED lights that I string around the tree. I also dyed all the separate pieces to match the ornaments as you can see in the pic. It does have a polarized 2 prong plug so you won't be able to plug it into the tree lights so I just ran a green cord up the tree that I had. Hope this helps.

I paid $25 for a “snap-n-lock” decoration!At best…it’s a $12.50 piece of merchandise, and that’s being generous!!

This star is absolutely beautiful and despite what some reviews say, it is incredibly easy to assemble. Seriously took me less than a few minutes. Now, I haven't actually used it long enough to determine if it does indeed deserve a 5 star rating, but once I have, I'll update my review. I am hanging it in a window with a Christmas 3 wise men display which I'll eventually add a pic for you to see the product.
