This adapter was easily the best choice while in a pinch! My previous splitter had died off at the worst time possible, and considering I've only got monitors that support HDMI cables, I was cut down to one monitor, which when one of your monitors enables the ability to digitally draw? Terrible timing!The adapter came super fast (major bonus for me!), and just as other reviewers said, the packaging was a little strange? The tape was difficult to remove (very sticky! Premium tape haha), the edge of the lid was pulled up, and within was the adapter, just kinda... put in there? No wrapping around the adapter itself, just more or less put in there.Now, the male port did come with a cap to protect it, whereas the female port came with a little bit of wrapping around the base, rather than over the port itself. Little weird, but despite that, the adapter works like a charm!The cable is a little short, but since it's supposed to be an adapter, and not a cable itself, thats completely fine! Easily accepts HDMI in the female port, easily taken by my computer via the male port! The video quality is just as, if not better, than my splitter!Definitely considering buying a couple extras, I reccomend this adapter to anyone whos only got HDMIs!

Needed to connect my 70" TV to a desktop.The TV already had an HDMI cable[15 feet].Desktop had only VGA and a Display port, (no HDMI port).So got this one.Immediately, after connecting, the TV detected it as a PC.Automatically, the resolution was adjusted to a much higher level.The screen resolution is now very clear.This is good for: connecting big TV to display port instead of VGA, Gives much better clarity and no additinal power needed for the above setup.
