The Adventures of Tintin: The Complete Collection

Not often that adult children are gaga over a gift but this this collection fit the bill. The collection was in great shape and a diamond in the rough as the purchasing price was quite affordable compared to other sites.

Reminds me of the good old days . Wonderful. My grand daughters will be loving Tintin once they start reading it. I miss the cartoons on TV as well. Billions of Blistering Barnacles!!!! 😆😆😆

Very nicely made, with a study, attractive box case to hold the hardbound volumes.These stories are classic and it's nice to have them in a wonderful hardbound collection!

My sons love these books. They are full of fun adventures!

Beautiful repackaging of a classic series. Everyone who complains about the small size is right. The comics, which were originally designed for a larger format, have been shrunk to fit this new size, making them harder to read. However, it doesn't detract much from the the overall experience. If you want all the Tintin classics (minus one controversial story) and don't want to shell out for each individual original large print edition, this is the way to go.

The one star is not for the content, which is obviously timeless classic, but for the physical product itself.These are essentially pocket books.But this is Tintin, which already had dense panels and text even in the original large format.So it is unfathomable that someone would decide to shrink it. It just cannot be read with the full experience in anything but the original format at a minimum.Which is also why I did not check the dimensions -- it never crossed my mind anyone could be so out of their mind to do that. But the description didn't help either, as it does not clearly state that this is a small shrunken edition.Also, given the original price of $200.00, which makes it $25 per book, it was hard to imagine it would be like that.Don't buy. Either wait for a collected edition in the proper format, or get the books individually.
