Q: does this model include an ac adapter

No, it only includes batteries..... it has the option for an ac adaptor but didn't come with it

Q: Is the cuff 100% soft? Some of these Omron machines come with a hard piece of plastic in the cuff, making it difficult to use.

Not sure how it can be 100% soft because there has to be an attachment point for the tube/line that connects the cuff to the device. The cuff has great flexibility to be able to get small for small arms (I am a petite woman). I have no difficulty using the cuff and device unassisted.

Q: Just why do they need your location??

Not really sure as I do not use the wireless/blue tooth functions and send any of my data for health data collection. But I would assume location has something to do with health data collection.

Q: Can this also be connected by wire? I an just see the Bluetooth being a problem at the exact time you need it most.

No, but you do not need to connect to the app in order to check your blood pressure. The Bluetooth connection is only used for automatic storage of your readings in the app. Even if you do not or are unable to use the Bluetooth functionally, you still have one of their best, most accurate blood pressure meters.
