Q: My filter light hasn’t gone off when I’ve fitted one of these should it have?

Yes the light should go off and does so on my Dyson with these filters, suggest you make sure the Dyson is completely clean. If you wash the original Dyson filter (and allow it to dry) does the filter light still stay on ? - if it's still on it would suggest it's not a filter issue on the other hand if it goes out and with the replacement filter it stays on then it's a filter issue

I have found them better than Dyson... Maybe need cleaning a bit more often but handy with a handy little brush to get rid of worst of dust, then a quick rinse with water... Dry much quicker than Dyson ones. I wont be going back to Dyson

Hi there, these are identical to the original filter which I still use. It gives me three washable filters instead of waiting for a single one to dry overnight. We use our Dyson V10 daily and we have three large dogs and a lot of dust. We wash the filters frequently using a bowl of lukewarm water and all filters leave the water fairly dirty after emptying the dog hairs/house dust etc after a full collector a few times. If the machine pulsates when in use, you know from the indicator that it's time to change the filter. I must emphasise that they are indistinguishable once washed clean, fully dried then used again so I can heartily recommend these as every bit as effective as the original Dyson filter and obviously excellent vaue for money! Treat them with respect and they'll last for years.
