Family Classics Chess by Pressman - with Folding Board and Full Size Chess Pieces

I’m really impressed with this chess board. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the pieces feel solid and well-balanced. The board has a nice weight to it and looks elegant whether you’re playing or displaying it. It’s perfect for casual games as well as more serious matches. Definitely worth the purchase – I highly recommend it to any chess enthusiast!

I love playing Mancala, and this is a very nice set for the price. I ended up sanding the board a little bit as it was rough in some places and I wanted the pits to be a little deeper. I’ve played on boards that had shallow pits and oversized gem stones, which makes it difficult to keep all of the stones from falling out. These stones are a good size and the holes or pits were average depth. The board sits level when in the open position, which I was concerned about as I’ve never had a board with this type of hinge. It’s attractive and practical and I would recommend.

I stumbled upon Pressman Mancala, a game from my childhood, and decided to introduce it to my husband, who had never heard of it. Such a fun game to play

This board is nicer than I expected. As others have written, the hinges are not great. They are very loose and feel like they will break. I open it gently and have had no problems with the board. If you want a sturdy board, look elsewhere.The cards are better than I expected based on some of the other reviews.The pegs fit in the bottom of the board. It's a bit difficult to remove the peg holder cover. But, that's a lot better than it opening on its own.All in all, for the price, I'd recommend this board.

Well made and exactly what I expected. I play with my daughters all of the times.

My wife was learning to play chess through an app on her phone so I decided to surprise her with this. She liked it, but didn’t continue to use it after she stopped learning how to play. A great inexpensive way to play and learn!

I bought this for my classroom and it’s perfect for the kids! I didn’t want to spend a lot on a chess board knowing they will just lose pieces and this is just what I needed! I will be ordering another when inevitably, a piece goes missing !!
