Works as expected
I use this all the time for Thai tea and it works wonderfully. Unfortunately because it's Thai tea, it's turned orange over time, but still works just the same. Have not noticed any rust, but also don't really get the handle wet. I usually let the tea steep with the filter sock inside out so all the tea leaves don't get stuck under the seam for when I go to clean it off.

Eco-Friendly Tea Lover's Dream
This stainless steel tea filter has completely replaced disposable tea bags in my daily routine. The fine mesh prevents even the smallest tea leaves from escaping while allowing full flavor extraction. I love that it's easy to clean (just rinse under water) and fits perfectly in all my mugs. The hinged design makes filling with loose leaf tea simple and mess-free.After months of daily use, the filter shows no signs of wear or rust. The only minor drawback is that the handle can get hot with prolonged steeping, but this is easily solved with a tea cozy. It's saved me money on tea bags while reducing waste - an excellent investment for any tea enthusiast who wants to enjoy their favorite loose leaf blends conveniently.

Very nice tea streamers
The media could not be loaded. Was looking for cup size tea streamers that keeps the tea leaves out, since I already have one from Germany & wanted more. These keep the tea leaves in the cotton net. Also wanted a rust free handle. Wanted stainless steel that does not rust. Was debating between the once with the zipper net, but decided against, because zippers will rust (some reviews stated so). Hope the handles are stainless as said and will hold up in the long run. So far I like them very much. Great cotton net just the right thickness. Price is right for two. Do recommend.

Does The Job
This is great for making Thai Ice Tea in small batches. It does leave a small amount of very fine tea leaf sediment in your glass, but it's not bad, and I don't think anything else work any better. Unless you used an N95. :)

Best for Thai Tea
I bought this only for Thai tea and it's honestly the bestt thing you can buy for the perfect boba tea. Remember it will stain (nothing you can do about it) but it won't have any loose tea leaves. Definitely worth your money and easy to clean (besides the staining). 😌👍

Perfect for making yummy Thai Iced Tea.
We finally got to make Thai Iced Tea using our filter with stainless steel handle. It worked great. I used a large mason jar to steep the thai tea (I purchased at Asian Super Market). I actually looked at recipes online and followed instructions on YouTube video. The tea was delicious. You basically have to experiment with the amount of tea, sugar and type of milk (half and half, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk)you wish to use. We tried using a combination of evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk based on recipe on YouTube. I think I prefer the half and half. I dissolved the sugar while tea was hot and kept taste testing for the perfect amount of sweetness. I was pleasantly surprised when I immediately washed the filter with water and dish soap if came perfectly clean. I assume over time it will become stained from the orange dye used in Thai tea, which is fine. Thai tea is like have a dessert with your meal.

Perfect for ANY loose leaf tea
I'm not a fan of Thai tea - I bought this to make the stuff I get from hackberry.I like brewing exotic iced teas in large quantities. It works perfectly, no loose schmechkus in the tea. No detritus. No p a r t i c u l a t e s.It is a PAIN to clean - but fortunately, they're cheap! If it gets too gross, another doesn't set you back anything at all.Would recommend if you like brewing any sort of loose leaf tea a liter or so at a time.
