Martin Smith, 4-String, Natural, Tenor Ukulele Kit (UK-712T-N)

I have played ukulele for a little over 2 years. I own a concert and another tenor uke made by Kala - both very nice products. I recently purchased the Martin Smith tenor uke to have one at my office, and so my daughter could learn on the concert sized. I've had it for roughly a day, and I am very impressed by the overall quality, and tone of the instrument. The frets are a little rough on the neck, but it does not interfere with playing at all. $50 very well spent - the package also included a strap, case, and tuner! Quite a bonus. I highly recommend this Uke to anyone starting out, or just in need of a very fun instrument to play.

Solid construction, and seems to hold tune fairly well. Should settle in more stable in the next month or so. Good starter kit. Will definitely be upgrading at some point. Surface isn't as smooth as I'd prefer. Fret board side edges are a little rough, not bad just definitely reflects the low price.Great to test the waters without over committing funds. Once you figure out if Ukulele is for you then you can look at better quality to upgrade to later.

The instrument looks beautiful and seems very well built. I did not find any sharp edges on the frets and there is no wood scrap or tear out in the body as reported by some. The neck is straight and the geared tuners work very well. The strings require a bit of time to stretch and set but after that it holds its tune just fine. The tone and volume are really great. The gig bag is surprisingly nice for a budget starter pack. I haven’t found any problems with it yet and am very happy with the purchase.

I bought this to learn on, and was nervous due to some bad reviews but honestly, I couldn't be happier! The uke is very nice. Far nicer than I expected. It was easy to tune and seems to be holding its tune well. The bag is very nice with padding. The tuner is nice too! Honestly I am shocked to get this much for my money. Very happy....so far anyway.

Really happy with this purchase. Absolute beginner here, and I wanted everything to be as easy and comfortable as possible, that is why I especially like the rounded or smooth'd over edge of the base of ukulele, the part of where your right forearm rests, very nice. The whole package, the tuner and bag, and the online lessons, etc. all just works out perfectly, I'm now hooked on the uke for life

wasn't expecting much out of this low cost uke but it plays really well and holds tune. One of the top beginner instruments out there. It has become my go to player

The group really liked this one. Gig bag padded, extra accessories appreciated, and plays well with a good tone.

Personalmente lo adoro. Prima di comprarlo, non avrei dato mezza lira agli ukulele in generale ma mi sono ricreduta. Io ho preso la versione Tenore, che ha un suono un po' meno da "giocattolino (passatemi il termine) e lo trovo uno strumento estremamente versatile e divertente. Non bisogna essere già dei musicisti, io sto imparando attraverso dei tutorial e la pratica ripetuta aiuta molto. Consigliato per trovare un nuovo hobby!

For £56 I wasn't expecting too much. At 85 years old it's too late to buy a top quality uke. This ukulele is made in England. I was very surprised, the case and uke came in first class condition, well packed and a fast delivery. The string action is spot on and the resonance, is very very good. Just one niggle, spare strings are not marked, being experienced, not a problem for me but a beginner may well get them mixed up

Esta muy bien fabricado, muy buen sonido de agudos y sobre todo graves. Buena compra a un precio asequible.
