Worth Product
Nice product. Easy to install . Thanks to Urban Ladder. Good technical support from them. Seamless installation process was followed.This has a couple of small rollers. Hope it should withstand the specified weight of the clothes.Good quality Stainless steel rods. No comments on that.Thick ropes to tie. May be I am wrong. May be with the first look at that ropes, I don't think it will sustain for long time especially when you expose it to direct sunlight. Probably, I think we should go for periodic replacement of the nylon threads.Was just thinking how to mitigate this and extend the life. 1) Can be extended a bit by not exposing them to direct sunlight. So you can choose a balcony which is facing North -South (0/ 180deg) azimuth in your magnetic compass2) Do not dry full dripping wet clothes which are not dried in washing machine as it may prove an additional load to the nylon tie ropes when it has water content in it. This will increase the tension on the ropes.3) May be in the next design they can provide a small mechanical lock. When the clothes are in drying position, the entire load can be taken out from nylon ropes and a small steel cable can be hooked on the support. This will drastically reduce the fatigue load of nylon ropes. If we want to bring it down, the nylon ropes can be re- engaged for our comfort.Overall good value for money.
