Worked for my 2017 Sony XBR-43X800E.. until it started smoking and almost caught fire 🔥
Update: tonight my son was watching TV when he screamed for me to come to his room. His TV had lost power and this power adapter was smoking 🔥🔥🔥 If I had not been there to unplug it who knows what could have happened. After looking at reviews I see I'm not the first person this has happened to. BUYER BEWARE!!I found a 2017 Sony XBR-43X800E at a Goodwill Bins on Sunday for $5 and took a gamble on it. I could not find a replacement power cable for under $60 but this one met all the spec requirements so I took a chance on this as well and it works perfectly. The TV turned on as soon as I plugged it in and is functioning perfect now!! I just wanted to share this in case anyone else has the same model and is considering buying this!

Great Cable! Works with Most Sony TV!
This was exactly what I needed! Mine burned in a fire originally and I thought I was never going to be able to find a replacement. I have a 55 XBR (2017) model. This was a great find. The TV hadn’t worked for about 8 months and this cord turned it on in 3 seconds! Very worth the money, and the shipping was extremely fast.

exactly what I was looking for
I bought a smart 4K 55” tv by sony a while ago and lost my power cord. Wasn’t sure if this cord would work for my model but it did! I’m so happy it did! Was a struggle to find a power cord for my model but this one gave me hope and it works and fits perfectly. Also comes with a one year warranty. Highly recommend this product.

Almost caught house on fire
Just came here to check if I could get a replacement or a refund. I think I bought this in 2023 for a sony 2015 or 2015 tv. We have been watching TV today and the TV kept turning itself on and off by itself. I told my boyfriend to check the cord and the adapter had melted and was smoking and almost caught on fire. I saw another review saying the same thing about this product saying that it started smoking or melted and almost caught on fire in their son's room. I see that you can no longer buy this product on amazon which is probably a good thing.
