Condenser Microphone Kit, BM800 Studio Microphone with Arm Stand Pop Filter Anti-shock Mount and USB Audio Adapter for Studio Recording

I am very impressed straight off with the amount you are getting for the price, regardless of quality.Upon setting everything up once out of the box, I have found the BM800 to be a decent improvement over my HyperX Cloud II's included mic (did some A/B testing). You just have to make sure you are in good proximity to the capsule and have something to defect plosive and sibilant sounds. The mic does pick up a fair bit of room noise (fans, squeaky chairs, keyboard switches), but this doesn't concern me as I use it mainly for Discord; which has a configurable noise gate that blocks out the worst of the unwanted sounds.The accessories bundled with the mic are great if you don't already have better alternatives, the only thing to let me down so far was the poorly designed clamp mechanism on the boom arm. It seems very difficult to get it clamping with even pressure, and can end up with the whole setup feeling a bit precarious. I didn't expect much at this price though, and once I finished battling with it, it eventually became secure and still is after a couple of weeks having not disturbed it.Clearly an entry level product, better than possibly all "gaming" headset mics when correctly set up, I even recorded some backing vocals and guitar for a casual project using this mic. Hard to beat!

Great seller. Easy, quick delivery. The microphone is good for the price but I was more interested in the stand and mic guard and always intended on buying a new mic. For someone starting off recording vocals this is definitely a great starter pack. Would Highly recommend. Took exactly a week and that was including a bank holiday Monday.

mic is very heavey and the clamp can't hold the weight unless it is a certain way, its a shame as otherwise a good bit of kit

It was hard for me to build but I got there anyway value is good and is sturdy

Everything except the microphone is great in this kit, the BM800 is infamous for being cheap - don't get me wrong it works for gaming or job related calls and such, but not for studio work- you will also need to buy your own XLR and Audio interface if you plan to use this, as the cable shipped with the set simply will not work with a condenser microphone

I think it was an amazing offer when we got this at 8 pound...couldnt believe myself and my son is enjoying using every element of it

sounds good, cheap, came quick... what not to like. the soundcard just made a buzz but works perfectly without it anyways so all good
