Great looking, flimsy/brittle
Purchased for my 10 year old son. He’s responsible and respectful with his values things, and this immediately became one. Diligent to put all the tiny pieces away properly. The plastic holder for extra hands and accessories is brittle plastic, and the tray inside required modification. Model is exactly as anticipated, but is extremely fragile. I fear the swapping out of hands will soon snap the connector ball off. Figurine itself didn’t want to snap together. Had to be very patient.

Not the solution or product I had hope it would be, but not entirely useless
So for any artists out there thinking about getting one of these, I would love to say I it's a great purchase but, I honestly cannot recommend it. I wanted it to be the solution to my problems with getting specific poses for sketching. But the model is so small that it is difficult to put it into the pose you are seeking and very frustrating to use.The hands are so tiny that when changing them you risk losing them and I found the wrist joint on the right hand to be weak where I worry it may break off. Total pain in the butt to attach the hands. Left shoulder is too loose which means the model will shift just after you thought you got it into the perfect pose. Also getting the model to hold the sword was a huge challenge. (Used blue tack). These are issues that will throw you off from the art you are trying to create. Which blows! If you are hoping for a quick easy to pose and use model...keep looking.I can't totally pan this item though. I just , for the life of me, cannot understand why they would make them so tiny! The hands are cool and you get a lot of options. The case is good for holding the parts would have rather see a separate case for accessories and a more streamlined stand and stand base. The stand affixes to the top of the case which is ok but not ideal. To make these models work, right out of the box and brand new, you will need to get yourself some blue tack. (fun tack- the adhesive stuff you hang posters on walls with that is removable.)So I have this brand new model with blue fun tack holding it into poses. (Lame! It looks used and old already. I have used it only once.)You will need the fun tack on the stand to secure it. Stand is awkward and one of the figure holder clamps is too loose and doesn't fit the base so it's useless even with the blue tack. All that being said - If getting one of these is your only option, which in my case it was, and you have lots of patience and a free hour to get it into the perfect pose, it may be useful to you despite it's problems. You can take a pic of it with your phone once you get the pose and import it into Photoshop or other digital drawing programs and then trace your pose.So it isn't entirely useless. It's a cool model just way to small and flimsy. Wouldn't pay more than $ 14 bucks for it with all it's flaws. - P.S. I paid more than that. :(So sadly, I can't recommend these Body Kun figures. However, I have a feeling that in the future we will see something similar in a much larger size made of more durable parts that may just allow us to get the quick flexible posing options we need from a model like this.Note: If getting someone to pose for you is not an option, this model may help but expect lots of frustration along the way.Note: This review is based on the grey male figure because the female had a ridiculously small a build. Can't even imagine how tiny the female one is.Addition! The 2021 versions I'm seeing of the female now have huge boobs and a hint head on a tiny body....LOL- how awful. Obviously designed by a man. 🤣UPDATE: bought this in February and used it over the course of two days very lightly. Went back to use it a week ago and the right hand nub that holds the different hands broke off when I tried to swap it out! Quite annoyed that it didn't last. They should either make the connecters for the hands stronger or they should give you extras. It's basically useless which is a shame because it's a great idea just poorly made. And they should make them larger which would make it easier to make them stronger.

Great timeliness - more disappointed in product
Likes: Price, and timeliness of delivery of product (arrived 3 days earlier than expected)Dislikes: At first, I thought only one should was little loose, then found out as I worked with it that other shoulder also little more loose than expected (will need to use clay or something to hold in place). Hands are harder to get secured onto figure without feeling like they will break.Overall, I will probably get another one but I want to get the 2.0 DX set to get the pre-folded arms and the legs that provide the kneel pose that goes more flat than the current DX set allows.

You basically get what you pay for.
In my honest opinion, this product is actually pretty good for the price. The figure is able to do a good amount of dynamic poses, and it just helps bring the users imagination to life. The only down side is the hand joints! They feel super fragile, so I recommend being very cautious when changing between the diffrent hand options. I also recommend using a silicone based lubricant to make the hands slide in a bit easier. Other than that, it's a great tool to practice anatomy and those stubborn poses we might not be able to imagine!

Looks great but has brittle wrists
The look and posability is great. I love that is a flat grey. However, the exchangeable hands have a week point and that is the very delicate wrist joints. This kit should have come with a whole bunch of wrist joints because they are tiny and prone to break.

You Will Break This
Due to tight fits and weak materials, you will break the wrist joints. It is not a matter of if, but when. The Figma Archetype figures do not have as many hand options, or the accessories, but have much better construction and I would recommend them over this product.

Decent discounted Body Kun figure, may be defective at lower price.
I've ordered multiples of these from various places, since I like making custom action figures with them. This time, the right arm is just a duplicate of the left arm. As you can see, they are supposed to be mirrored and they aren't. Just something to keep in mind with cheaper versions of these, they'll often be defective. Overall, decent and it'll work for what I need it to do. These retail at around $80, so I can't really complain.

Very useful things for illustrators
Pretty accurate human body that is useful if you need to draw image of the man in different poses.
