With a little time, nurturing, and patience… 😍
I bought this beautiful start in 2023. It was just an 8” stick when I received it. I was skeptical. But, it was well packaged when it arrived and it was healthy. I planted it outside in a pot that received both direct sun and morning shade. I watered it well through the summer months and it flourished! In winters (Salt Lake City, UT) I placed it under a covered porch. I allowed it to go dormant (Did not water it in winter). In the spring I moved the pot to where I started it and began to water it regularly. Here it is Spring 2025! I planted it in the ground Fall 2024. As you can see it’s striving! I ❤️ the color of the leaves and how easy it was for me to grow with a little nurturing. I highly recommend this seller.

Not a dwarf and doesn't color pink
Ordered this as I liked the color, but the leaves never turn coral pink. Tree was not a 3 year tree, it's not a dwarf and the grafting was very poorly done. I will never order from this company again.

Really starting to put on growth now!!!
I bought Coral Pink in May 2021 with Ukigumo. (the last pic is when it first arrived). It was just a little baby sticklet. I guess there's truth to " 1st year sleep, 2nd year creep, 3rd year LEAP bc its really becomming a fine looking tree. It's not yet become the light coral color I was sold on, but I'm not going to fault the seller bc it might be because I am over protective of it. I live in a windy zone 6 and I'm thinking that I should move it so a slightly sunnier exposure. That's the one GREAT thing about keeping Japanese Maples in containers for awhile, you can see how they behave in different locations. I hope as it continues to mature, I can come back and upload its progress. This order was here first time I ever ordered a Japanese maple and I've ordered several more since. I see a lot of complaints about size. Some I order arrive as sticks and some come 3'4 ft tall, creatively contorted to fit into their box. For me, when I want a specimen bad enough, I'll order where I can find it, then from who offers the best price. On Amazon... of course, id like as large as possible, but I expect them to be on the small side and when they arrive much larger than expected, it's like a major bonus and really makes my day. :) but I've never lost any Japanese Maple trees from this vendor. 3rd season seems to be a developmental milestone. You should see my Ukigumo (purchased with this one)!《Knock on wood》 I have not lost one yet. They are all getting on very well and I have two more on the way to look forward to. 😃

Have patience
I ordered two different Maples from this company in October. When they arrived they were in a dormant state and basically looked like two sticks in dirt. I know it seems disheartening when you get them, but they will grow. Now that spring is here both little trees are doing great! I find that I have the best success when I plant trees in their dormant state during fall and let them overwinter in the yard. Update as of 4/23/24. I added the two pictures, this is about 6 months time.

How old the tree is
the description is deceptive as it says Coral Pink Japanese Maple - Beautiful Coral Pink Leaves in Spring Light Up The Garden 3 - Year Live Tree. Which lead me to believe the tree was 3- years old. But when I received it it was rather small. Then I looked at the specifications and it says 1-month. I'm going to plant it and watch it grow anyways. Not sure how to rate it as I just received it. But it does have beautiful leaves even if it is smaller than I expected.

Pretty little tree
The plant was dormant when I received it, which was to be expected since I ordered it in the winter. It’s a beautiful little tree, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Disappointed
This "3 years old" tree is maybe 1foot tall! MAYBE !!!! That's it! And it is a grafted tree too! The advertisement said nothing about a grafted tree! It did say it that it was grown from seed. I'm very disappointed with this purchase! This tree was ordered along with 3 other maple trees. None of them are labeled, so I hope I received the trees that I ordered and not 4 trees of the same variety! 3 trees look exactly the same! So, I might have just two varieties of maples instead of 4! DISAPPOINTING!
